Q: Got some shares of OGN in the MRK spin off, too small an amount for me to keep as a holding. Sell and buy more MRK is an option or add to SU, SLF or BCE? Un-registed account, +5 year hold.

Q: Portfolio analytics --> I need international exposure.

I'm 44yo with a high risk tolerance and 2 kids, 4 yrs and 7 yrs away from entering post-secondary.

Could you make some recommendations to plug this hole in my portfolio? Individual stocks and an ETF mix would be ideal.

Q: Hi,

If not already asked, what are your thoughts on the most recent news for Aritzia wrt acquiring a men's clothing line? I for one had not heard of this brand so not sure how it might stack up to other men's clothing brands. How accretive might it be?
I took a 1/2 position just before the announcement so good timing on my part. :) Street seems to approve of the purchase.

Also wrt ATS Automotive recent acquisition....thoughts on this? How accretive or what might it mean to additional revenues/profits going forward?
I don't own this but am watching it closely.

Would it be possible to filter the smaller cap companies in the market data? I do not dabble a lot in the smaller cap space and of course their prices move around a lot.

In regards to Andrew Peller do you regard the latest quarter, and margin issue, as more a short term issue related to the pandemic or more suggestive of a longer trend issue? It seems that the stock is not expensive, relative to other spirit companies, at the $9.45 area it is trading?

Q: I own both PPL and BIP.UN. It seems that IPL wants a deal with PPL having rejected BIP.UN's latest offer.
My question is the "potential deals" that PPL is chasing down. They are looking to partner with indigenous groups for TMX and of course the IPL deal.

Will their balance sheet be able to handle this if they are successful with both?
What are your thoughts on the management team's ability to combine these businesses into 1 large company?
Does that change your opinion about PPL as an "income" stock to an income stock with growth potential?

Q: The listed companies each carry about a 1% weighing in my portfolio. There are no tax implications and I am positive on all of these. I am trying to reduce my overall holdings to about 25. I believe each company has its merits but I will never hit a home run with such a small investment. Can you advise which ones you would keep and consolidate or perhaps suggest something else to put all of the proceeds toward.
