Q: Has the new federal budget changed the dividend tax credit?

Q: Hi 5i, my question is on all financials impacted new taxes.

"Dividend tax change: Ottawa is planning to raise billions of dollars from banks and insurers through a change in tax rules on dividends that financial institutions receive from Canadian companies."

Can you put a guess on how this will impact investors?

Q: Both of these issues have share prices which have taken severe hits recently and at least superficially appear to reflect the worst outcome from known difficulties. The question I would like you to address is; in your opinion and in the absence of new circumstances does the current valuation of each equity fully account for/ discount all the known issues each company faces? i.e. Do the present prices represent a reasonably reliable floor.

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I’m down on all the above stocks as follows CRWD Down 36%, ETSY down 40%, PINS down 52%, PYPL down 64%, SQ down 72% and U down 77%.

With a 2 to 3 year horizon which of these are worth holding and which once I should sell and can you suggest US replacements and not necessarily in the same asset class. Just good stable companies that have good growth potential to outperform the indexes.

Take as many credits as you feel necessary.

Q: About 3 weeks ago, they received a STC certification for Boeing 737. Is this going to be a game changer for their bottom line ???
Also, there was talk sometime ago, that the Chinese Air Lines were going to be required to have similar requirements. Did anything materialize from that.
Is FLY now profitable or still bleeding and what are the next 2 years projections.
