Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! The market has surely been a rollercoaster ride over the last few months. I have 40K US to deploy and am looking for a solid growth stock or two with a good moat. Right now might not be the time to invest but I have time. Do you have a few stock suggestions for me for now or in the near future? Thank you , Tamara

Q: Good Morning.... Is there a Canadian ETF that is roughly equivalent to ROBO? If not, can you suggest a Canadian ETF that covers this technological / industrial niche within its overall composition? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i,

Gold seems to be doing well in these uncertain times, as it has been touted to be, a safe haven. I have read many of the Q&A database but I am not sure if the following has been asked. Few Gold companies provide dividends but I am attracted to those that do, as dividends provide confidence on the company. FNV is one.

Do you think that in the current environment (rising Gold prices, uncertainty, increased demand) that those dividend producing Gold companies might increase their dividends ? If so, do you have one or two that might be the most likely to do so ? (Or, ... one or two that might initiate a dividend - please subtract 2 questions).

Q: Hi,
Looking at last month’s balanced portfolio report I cannot see the calendar returns of the TSX composite. Can you please show comparison of balanced portfolio compared to it’s benchmark like etf XIC would be great.

Q: I am only 2% invested in REITs with BPY.UN and FCR.UN but will add more with time and when some consistency returns to market. Looking at my US cash balance I should be taking advantage of this investment market in a 'sane' way for a retired person. I researched this company and from what I read, mainly from Morningstar, it looks fine for me given it is a US dividend aristocrat as of last February and does support my need for cash flow.

May I have your opinion on this company?

Q: Opening an RESP for new born. What stocks (Cdn. or U.S.) would you recommend, taking into account safety and dividends. Obviously looking at a long time frame and plan to contribute $2,500 per year. Thanks for your insight.
