Q: I know American companies aren't your specialty, but now that the bubble has popped in 3D printing, what do you feel about the above two? Are manufactures embracing 3D printing, and is there any moat that these two have?

Thanks for all you do,

Wes

Q: Over the next year or so I'd like to transition into some US names. I also plan on travelling a fair amount to the US as well. Can you advise on how you feel the Canadian dollar will do.

Also, can you advise on the current state of the economy. Today's increase followed by verbatim that there will be multiple (more than expected) I find concerning for the Canadian economy. We are late in a cycle (as per prior length of cycles) and we this will certainly impact discretionary income significantly. Not even considering an uptick in mortgage defaults which I would imagine would rise just on the basis of simple economics... I guess my question is, do we really see rates rising quicker than expected? Just seems surprising to me.

Deduct as many credits as you wish.

Q: Good day gentlemen,
This company seems to hold 400M in cash. I believe that is roughly 2$ per share. Can you confirm? Also, the contract with Quebec is for 20k kilos in year 1, with increases every year for total c. 200k kilos over 5 years. I looked at the latest financials I could find on their site. It seams their selling price for past periods was 10$ per gram. I know that this is not possible with the Quebec contract. As a back of the envelope calculation, would it not be conservative to think they could NET 2$ or 3$ per gram on this contract.
Would that not make this stock extremely cheap? Also I notice most analysis is done on EV / Ebitda, can you explain the difference between this and P/E. why do they use this and not future P/E.
Thanks

Q: Hello. Can you point me in the direction of a few solid health sector, dividend paying stock options that would be suitable to hold within an RRSP? I’m looking at a five to eight year horizon and consider myself as a ‘low to moderate’ risk investor.
PS found recent ‘ How to Pick a Stock in 2018’ very helpful. Thanks!
