Q: Are you expecting a good Christmas for TOY ? Any insight as to new toys. I saw some weeks ago that some of their toys were voted by young participants as good ones.
Lack of Toys R Us in USA is a negative but Mom & Dad will find other avenues to purchase them. Deal with BABA must be a positive. I think it is looking good. Your thoughts please. I am considering increasing my holdings in TOY. RAK

Q: In my TFSA I currently have BCE, ENB, FTS, TRP, CNR, SLF, BNS and TD - I'm looking to make a change to get some growth and dividends - I'm looking at getting rid of BCE, ENB and TRP - my biggest losers down 10, 15 and 12.50 per cent respectively. Can you recommend some companies.
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,
Toy has been sliding as of late. A guest on bnn yesterday has said that he blames "trade war" fears. Do you think that the current trade war fears, or tariffs that are happening right now will affect Toy in any meaningful manner? Or are investors selling off for no reason. I realize the old Toys R Us bankruptcy likely kept the stock sideways for a while. But now, that seems to be mostly behind us (is it not?) Leading up to holiday season I would have expected Toy to take another leg up here, especially after last earnings release was showing that they are still into record results despite Toys R Us. Is this setting up to be a great buying opp? Your opinion, thanks.

Q: Hi guys,
I hold one ETF and a mix of equities (selected from your portfolios) in my TFSA, with the following weightings:
COV 5.48
CSU 6.70
GSY 5.42
KXS 4.93
PBH 4.26
PHO 4.50
SHOP 7.57
SIS 6.59
TOY 6.05
TSGI 5.63
VUN 30.35
WEED 12.51
Everything is up from initial purchase (many thanks) but some have grown much faster than others. I am considering rebalancing and/or adding a new position. Is there a notable position that you would add/remove (e.g, VUN in exchange for equities)? I have VXC and VCN in my RRSP so maybe VUN is better located in there.
Thanks for the amazing service and knowledge base that 5i provides.

Q: Greetings 5i

In my TFSA I have enjoyed a nice run with PHO. I am thinking of selling my position and using the funds to buy TOY. My reasoning is that TOY is larger and thus more stable.

I am interested in taking less risk in my TFSA. I am not concerned with the balance allocation of the portfolio as my PHO is not a high weighting.

Your insights are always valuable

Thanks

Peter

Q: I previously asked a question about deploying a lump sum of $100K to $200K. Can you suggest a handful of Companies that you think are the most attractive right now in terms of future growth?

Thank you,
Jason

Q: Yesterday one of your answers to a question was "We would suggest KXS, TOY and PBH for growth".

Eleven days ago my 29 year old son transferred his tfsa from all cash to 85% etfs (VGG, VEE, ZWB at your suggestion) and to 15% equities (csu, sis, pbh per my suggestion and I was looking for growth with his long term horizon).

Given your growth picks of yesterday, do you think it's worth swapping his csu and sis for kxs and toy?
