Q: Hi Peter and team,

I have a question about Pivot. Can you briefy explain me the company and is it a good time to purchase shares. Currently, Ralph Garcea of Cantor Fitzgerald Canada has a $1.25 target price. Ralph mention Pivot can raise their dividend, buy back shares and increase their margins. Can you kindly share your thoughts. Thanks.

Q: This REIT came to my attention due to CEO buying ($3M in last couple of months). What is your take on it, especially the sustainability of the dividend?

Q: Please give me your overview of this company, security of dividend and 5 year outlook as a hold.

Q: I hold 3 stocks per main section allocation and have HCG as my financial anchor (through thick and thin - as my three main inspirations Jason Donville, Mawer's Martin Ferguson and yourself are still constructive on it); I also hold AD. I sold RFC for a couple reasons including captial tax loss to offset gains elsewhere.

Which financial stock would complement well HCG (and AD)? CXI, EFN, EH, Fiera, other??

Assume an otherwise diversified portfolio for long term investor (doing well mostly except my financials!!). Dividend is nice to have but I am focusing on stock's total return as primary criterion.

Q: What is your opinion on cf? My purchase price is 9$. Do you suggest averaging down or exit altogether at a loss? It is in a tfsa, so there is no tax loss advantage, but want to get out if there is not much growth. Thanks

Q: Hello Peter, I hold EnCana, Cenovus, Canadian Natural, Baytex, Surge and Tourmaline. As I'm resigning myself to low oil prices continuing for at least a few years, I'd like to eliminate two or three of my positions.
Some of these stocks have obviously done much worse than the others. But on a 'looking forward' basis only, can you please list the stocks that you'd suggest I eliminate, in order?

Q: In your answer to a question on WEF today you mentioned that "WEF has taken a 31% hit this year, as China has scared investors once again."

What is the correlation to China? Wouldn't most of the lumber be exported to the US? And what is your outlook for the stock?

Q: In the last Canadian MoneySaver Peter Lantos wrote an article on the benefits of investing in mortgages and points out that "big money" is heavily invested in real estate. Would REITs mimic the real estate and how does one invest in mortgages? Do companies such as FC qualify as mortgage investments? Thanks

Q: There was a trading halt on AG Growth International late Wednesday afternoon due to "pending news" which was lifted at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before the opening bell. I have searched the company website and can't find any reason for such a halt. Do you guys have any idea what's going on? Thanks!

Q: I hold a small position in Gruma SAB de C.V.(GMK:US), the Mexican food supplier. It appears trading has been halted and I can't get any information from Yahoo or Bloomberg or any of my usual sources. Do you have any idea what is happening?

Great Canadian gaming has been awarded the first phase or bundle of casinos or slots from OLG. From my understanding there is more to come. Do you think Gamehost would try to move in Ontario with some assets OLG is giving up? Also how do the deal fair for Great Canadian Gaming? Is it safe to assume they get the rest of OLG's assets or does another company come in? Looks like a positive in my opinion long term for GC. Your thoughts please. Thanks Jimmy

My exposure to the US Housing market is through Tricon Capital (TCN) and Interfor (IFP) and I'm up on both; however, the latter one is lagging significantly lately and I wonder if I should sell and move on to another Canadian company participating in this sector.
Could you name a couple? What do you think of Hardwoods Distribution (HWD)?

Apologies. This relates to your answer to my previous question. If Bombardier decides to IPO part of the rail business, is it worth buying BBD now to potentially get some shares in the Bombardier rail IPO or is it possible that existing BBD shares holders may not get any shares from the IPO? Any idea. Thanks again.
