Q: I own all of the above stocks in the 'growth' portion of a well balanced portfolio. I don't need to sell any and the volatility doesn't bother me. Are there any I should sell because their fundamentals have changed in this correction? Any I should add too?

Q: Hello Peter and team . Good graph set up. If we can share the source or build few important set ups in the site itself, that would be great.
Q- Dividend safety . Out of the following which ones you think has the dividend safety AT THE CURRENT LEVELS OF PAYOUTS-
1. BANKS (BNS, TD, RY, CM), TELECOM ( TELUS, BCE) , ENB, BIP, GWO, SUNLIFE, CU, FTS.
I am thinking of putting new money into 3-4 of these but dividend safety is must. Thanks

Q: I have been reading the questions and answers on nutrien. I think Nutrien has been holding up very well in this market and with spring coming, their retail business,, having bought Agrium quite a while ago, the potential for food shortages, a great dividend, I think nutrien is close to a back up the truck investment.
But I don’t read financials so can you tell me how well capitalized they are. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5iR Team, I know that LSPD is a software development company, that has developed an ecommerce platform so clients can manage inventory, sales, customer needs, etc.. My question is: who exactly are their customers, in particular their largest customers? My concern is if restaurants form a significant part of their customer base then perhaps I should be avoiding LSPD, no matter how much money they are sitting on??
Thanks Team. Cheers, Chris

Q: Hi Gang, I owned BIP.UN for years in a non registered account and if I don't mind writing off the capital gains against capital losses this year, would I be better to put all the proceeds from BIP.UN into BIPC going forward because of the tax credit.
Thank you
Anthony

Q: You mentioned in your report that clients are mostly retailers and restaurants. Is it mainly for very small businesses? If so, is it not much harder to scale since growth and $ per client is somewhat limited.

Is their product for online stores as well or only retail locations?

How do you like management? Since it has voting control I was hoping to see a bigger stake in the company.

I understand it s higher risk. Do you see the stock as a good/great pick for TFSA long term (5 years +)?

Thank you for your comments. I am just tying to add some tech exposure with stong growth to my portfolio.

Q: Are currency exchanges using a DLR/DLR.U transaction to be reported on one's income tax return? The transaction will usually result in a small loss when the commission is factored in. (It would seem odd to be able to claim this loss, when you can't write off the fee for exchanging dollars at the bank!)

Q: Hi team,

Are energy shares a good long-term investment any more or should they simply be looked at as a trade? Given the lack of pipelines in Canada and the fact that the World is shifting away from oil and gas at higher prices, do energy stocks really have a long term potential? Or should we buy them on weakness and sell them into strength. Hard to grow the business and revenues, apart from acquisitions, when revenues are dependent on a commodity that is at the whim of certain government action or inaction.

Thanks,
Jason

Q: Hi Peter,

Atrium announced yesterday that it will redeem its convertible bonds a month early (from end of June to beginning of May 2020). What is the purpose of this? Also, is it common for companies to have double digit dividend yields and not have any cuts? I understand that mortgage investment corps are more unique as they have to pay out all of their income which explains the high payout ratio (it's expected).
