Q: What did you think of q2 results and valuation going forward. Thanks
Q: I would like your analysis of this Swiss fashion play. I understand they have high growth and price has corrected in half. When are they expecting profits?
Q: Can you please comment on Tantalus' earnings? Has your outlooked improved or changed since your last comments. And based on Peter's Five winning traits for small/mid cap companies how does Tantalus rate on "Management", "Sponsorship", I know EDC(Export Development Canada) is involved with them somehow but not sure in what way(would you guys have access to that info?) and that Pendergrowth owns shares, "New and Big market opportunity" there are lots of utilities to upgrade is GRID best positioned to do this?, Is their BALANCE SHEET improving? and lastly they have limited PROMOTION which Peter likes. As you can see I have lots of questions on this particular company, looking forward to your take.

Q: Hey 5i: I am overweight with whitecap and down 5% in the 9$ range ,could use for tax loss but like the dividend. Would definitely sell at 10$ but also would be fine breaking even because I may need this money in the next 8months to a year. With this in mind do you like it as a hold considering needing the money is not a certainty. Tough call but appreciate your input.Tks. Larry

Q: Hello 5i,
With the rise in the USD and decline in Asian and European stocks and ETF's, is this a good time to purchase ETF's for those zones with the anticipation that the ETF's will increase if the usd declines in value in the next 2-3 years?
If so, can you recommend one ETF for each zone for the cdn and us exchanges?
Thank you.
Debbie and Jerry

Q: You mentioned in an earlier answer that the time to buy is when things are bad which, in context, is now. Can you suggest some Canadian companies which deserve to be purchased about this time? Growth, value, doesn't matter. I have done well in the past by familiarizing myself with your daily answers. No one expects perfection but my 5i compass serves me well. Thanks
Q: Considering the latest news, do you think it's time to take a position in the cannabis sector? Or do you see this as a short term rally with not enough of a material impact?
Q: Hello 5I, between the 2 companies do you have a favourite or is it a toss up? Trying to figure out if its worth trading out of TOI into NVEI.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: There has been over $3million insider buying, notably including by the CFO, and the company has redeemed stock consistently over the years.
Is the float getting appreciably smaller? What might be going on here?

Q: Can 5i give a brief clarification explaining why two listings for Quebecor, is there a preference, and in general, thoughts on Quebecor as an investment right now for medium term, please?
Q: Can you please give me you opinion on these companies as well as their financial status.
Would you consider CHE.UN a buy at these levels or what entry point.
What are your thoughts about the EIF bought deal that was just announced and would you think that this dip is a good buying opportunity?
Thanks
Joe

Q: Some time back, I came to the thesis that with all the financial stimulus, inflation would develop and that gold would rise. Well, we did have inflation but gold declined. Each of these 3 names may have had their own issues, I am down between 20 - 50 % on them. What is your view on gold going forward? What is your view on each of these 3 equities? Hold or sell, and why? Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: My son has saved up for a bit and has a decent amount of capital for his age. He has a TFSA but his investments are varied and not the best for a long term portfolio. We recently sat down and planned out a long term portfolio that would less risky for long term holdings. Would you guys change/swap, remove or add any from this portfolio of Canadian Stocks? TD, MG, BAM.A, ENB, SLF, FSV, T, FTS, CNR and TRI. Is the market also in a comfortable position to currently make a large investment of capital? Thanks.
