Q: Gluskin Sheff if up over 10 per cent today. I can't find any specific news as to why. What's on your radar? Just coming off of an oversold base? Take over rumors?

Q: Your analysis on BCE results, please.
Sold half position in LIF yesterday after a double. Looking to average into BCE in order to de-risk and reduce cyclical volatility in my portfolio.

Q: What is your opinion of this pot stock?
Q: when are aecons next earnings? Also, is there a website where can you find out earnings dates for companies?
Q: You don't talk a lot about RUS. It trades at a p/e of 7.2X. very cheap. I know the chart trend is not to good now. Is it worth an investment now or wait a little bit longer? Does 5i recommend or not this stock? Give me your reason why .
Thanks
Thanks
Q: What do you think of these guys in light of the bought deal?
Q: Hello 5i,
When using the ETF Sector Balancing Tool for the Bond ETF's I just put in another category of Fixed Income instead of trying to break out Corporate bonds as well as Government bonds. Does this appear to be a correct procedure? Also does it matter if ETF's are International, European, Canadian or US or just use the sectors as if there was no geographical difference?
thank you
Stanley

Q: Hello,
Further to NFIs press release that they are doubling buybacks, did they actually do that..Or was that a gimmick to aid stock prices?
On another note I read a Charlie munger quote on risk "Using a stocks volatility as a measure of risk is nots. Risk to us is 1. Risk of permanent loss of capital 2. Risk of inadequate return " . I think this is a very powerful concept. It also made me wonder how for example a stock like TSGI rates in terms of risk based on the above 2 criteria.
Thanks.
Shyam

Q: My wife and I are 66 years old. We each have a TFSA which we are trying to maximize. These would be the last two accounts we would ever take money out of. Our children are the beneficiaries so these are long term accounts - hopefully! We each have RRSPs and share a non-registered account we use for income. We don't have any fixed income but do have enough cash to last us 3 years. No pensions, but are quite diversified in a number of blue chip stocks.
Between the two of us we have PHO, SIS, TOY, BNS, TSGI. None of which has been very good lately but we are patient. We have enough money for two more positions, and think it would be prudent to add two, more stable, names. OTEX, BOYD, GC ? Suggestions?
THANK YOU !

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
Pls give your thought and outlook on Skyworks Solution's quartly earning.
It reported slightly miss in earning, but the stock popped up 12% this morning, was it because the company gave positive earning and revenue guidance or the 2b. share buy back?
Thanks as always.

Q: I have been a long term holder of POW and have become frustrated with the performance of the share price and dividend increases. I am interested in replacing it with ENB, BIP.UN, or IPL ? I accept that these companies are in different sectors. It seems the Demarais family cannot enhance shareholder value despite the multiple voting shares they hold. Thanks. Joe
Q: I own both and wonder if that makes sense .
I am considering selling ppl and purchase more ipl to capture the greater yield .
The upside for each I am assuming should be more or less equal.
Do you think this would be prudent
