Q: Can I please have your thoughts and analysis on Heico's recently announced earnings. It is trading lower today. I have owned a small position for a few years and have done well. Is this a buying opporunity or a time to get out. Any thoughts that you might have would be appreciated. Thank You.

Q: FCTE is a Warren Pies portfolio managed July 2024 inception ETF with an active strategy holding 21 large caps. The MER is .85%. It has had a good start for its limited existence. Mr Pies seems like a deep thinker. Could you opine on the published holdings and any other thoughts you can share regarding the manager, his history and the strategy. Obviously too new for a strong recommendation but your preliminary sense on this one would be great to have. Thank you.
Q: Hi,
To Arnold's question on SMCI, "some people" seem to have known about Hindenburg's report on SMCI's accounting irregularities! That explains the drop? This coupled with CAVA's meteoric rise and sudden sell of makes one wonder if the system is "rigged"!!

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i!
I have a 27 year old nephew who would like to open a TFSA. He is putting $5000 in to start which he will gradually add to. He is looking for a growth ETF concentrated on the US market. Would VFV suit his needs, or should he consider something else??
Cheers,
Tamara

Q: Hi, as a follow-up to my previous question regarding a switch from Google to Microsoft. Would you expect similar returns in the near term or do you favour one over the other? Thanks
Q: Hi Folks,
Trimming some ABBV and PFE in my RRSP account. Thinking of adding either ISRG or LMAT to my somewhat balanced account. May I have your opinion as to which one you favour today and why? Thanks

Q: Have held Google for some time and pleased with the return but wondering if you think the breakup talk will hold it back in the short term. Is there more upside potential in Microsoft near term or would you hold both? Alternatively is there another name you would prefer outside of the Mag 7?

Q: Hello 5i team!
You often seem bullish on tri. I know it's grown in the past year and I know you're not fans of analyst predictions, but the one year estimate is about $220.50. can you please explain why this would be a good investment today for the next couple years, and/or offer a couple other better growth ideas? Thanks!

Q: A Market Call guest, Gordon Reid, was very negative on SBUX, saying that they are wrong to borrow money to buy back stock. I disagree. With a return on assets of 14% and a dividend that is well covered by earnings, I would argue that loading the balance sheet with low-cost debt to maximize return on equity is a sound strategy. Who's right?
Q: hi, in follow up to yesterday, what do you see as the reason for the price decline today? Powell speech? or other things in the earnings/guidance. is this a buying opportunity?
cheers, Chris
