Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I know it's speculating and you can't read the future but do you see further upside on these two and if so how much more and is there a point when you would sell. Thanks, Nick

Q: Can I get your opinion of CPX using FTS as a benchmark. I own FTS and would like to add to the sector or should I just add to FTS?

Q: Hi 5i
I'm considering a 5% position in one of these 3 companies as maybe Oil has some room to improve with increased activity.
In what order would you consider these to invest?
Thanks
Ken

Q: As part of the momentum in oil, and in anticipation of $80 + oil, how do you place Gear as partaking in this momentum up. Not a long term play but 1 to 2 year max to exit
Q: Lots of questions on this topic! Senior, primarily dividend oriented but like some upside catalysts... Would it be an entry point for ppl given all the noise or wait till dust settles. I hold enb and divested most of my IPL as a precaution but looking to enter PPL or would it be wiser to wait and see where the dust settles. If PPL is not successful in the acquisition might they see a significant pull back ?
BTW not a BAM fan don't trust they would be good for IPL
Appreciate your commentaries

Would you have a preference between these two names for long term exposure to renewables?
Thanks!

Q: If you had to pick one to sell, and one to continue holding between CNQ and SU, which one do you keep?
- AltaGas Ltd. (ALA)
- BMO Equal Weight Global Base Metals Hedged to CAD Index ETF (ZMT)
- BMO Equal Weight Oil & Gas Index ETF (ZEO)
- iShares S&P/TSX Composite High Dividend Index ETF (XEI)
- iShares S&P/TSX Capped Energy Index ETF (XEG)
- iShares S&P/TSX Global Base Metals Index ETF (XBM)
- United States Oil Fund (USO)
- VanEck Oil Services ETF (OIH)
- Tourmaline Oil Corp Subscription Rcpt (TOUR)
- SPDR Metals & Mining ETF (XME)
Q: I own XEI, ALA, and TOUr but little oil.
I'm hoping to buy base metals and oil in an CDN etf. Do you think this is a good idea and what would you recommend?

Q: Could you list your current top five Canadian energy names from a capital gain potential
Q: SLB is finally turning green, really green in our holdings. I did trim a bit today and appreciate having your opinion on whether we should buy, sell or hold? Or switch to other names in the same sectors that may have more room to run: Halliburton or Baker Hugues or diversifying the risk in IEZ - an ETF . Thank you!
Q: Hi Peter and Team, I have a small position in PD. It has doubled since December. Does the run up have more room to go? Shall I hold or trim into strength? Appreciate your insight!
Q: What do you think of Brookfield's superior bid for IPL at 4.4% premium to Pembina bid?
- Enbridge Inc. (ENB)
- TC Energy Corporation (TRP)
- Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL)
- Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL)
- Keyera Corp. (KEY)
Q: I hold both Interpipeline and Pembina. If the PPL takeover of IPL goes through, I will have a bit more PPL than I am comfortable with, and would consider moving a portion to a company in a similar space. Assuming the deal happens, how would you rate the combined PPL/IPL compared to similar alternatives ENB, KEY, TRP. Could you give a rating for each of the 4 on a scale of 1 -10 for desirability as a long term hold in a balanced portfolio. Looking at total return over a 5 - 10 year period. Thanks.
- Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. (BEP.UN)
- Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN)
- Northland Power Inc. (NPI)
- Boralex Inc. Class A Shares (BLX)
- Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC)
Q: a) Could you please clarify the advantage of owning bep.un vs bepc.
b) Would you recommend adding either to my current holding of aqn/npi/blx?
c) Please list in order of preference
d) Do you think all four would give greater diversity, or would you prefer owning only 2 or 3 of theses companies and if so which ones!

Q: I have been holding IPL for approx 7 years. Needless to say I'm below water even with deal on the table. I was thinking of getting out of IPL and buying ENB.
Thoughts.

Q: Greetings,
I have 4% cash currently and would consider short term opportunities. With a new competing bid IPL is trading below the offer price. Do you see an opportunity here to purchase IPL and hold for the sale and possible counter offer? Or is the difference more related to the half cash half PPL stock offer which will be more volitile? Hence risk. I appreciate your insite.
Cheers!

Q: I realize it is early in the acquisition, but would you be able to highlight the move, and give us your thoughts on the new, and hopefully improved PPL with the addition of IPL and the amount of debt they are taking on. Thanks
Q: If you owned IPL today would you:
1. Sell the stock with today's news
2. Accept the PPL stock (if the deal goes through)
3. Wait and see if Brookfield offers more
Thanks!
