Q: The stock has plummeted from 130 in Sept to 49 today. I don't recall a 5i recco that has fallen so dramatically and ever recovered to where it was.
Obviously the shorts have it right (so far) to be short was the right thing to do.
1)Do you sincerely feel that LSPD will ever recover to where it had been?
2)If yes, what dramatic course of events would do it?
Sheldon

Q: Peter/Ryan:
with recent market weakness, should we be reading anything into the fact that NBLY has held up so well? I ask, as we've fairly recently opened up a small position in the company and wondering if adding a bit more seems to be a good strategy.
thanks

Q: What would be a good entry price for Lspd? Thanks
Q: Hi Team,
I have heard DOO mentioned quite a bit in top canadian recommendations. Although sales have been good for the company and demand for their product is high, do you see sales/ numbers slumping for them for the next while due to supply chain issues. I know where I am the dealers have very little for inventory, and are only getting "spring break" snowcheck deliveries in for customers that pre ordered snowmobiles last spring. Will this not hurt their numbers for the next few months until supply chain issues getting straightened out?
Also, in a quick pitch...what are the main selling points for investing in this company for a 5yr plus time frame? Would it be one of your top picks today for canadian investment for share price appreciation...or after recent sell offs are their others you would choose over this one (please list)? Thanks
Shane.

Q: Hi,
I have owned shares of OTEX for several years and have a modest gain in my TFSA. In order to add a bit more growth to my portfolio I am thinking about selling OTEX and buying shares of KXS. Is this a move that would make sense to you or would you replace with something else?
Thanks very much.

Q: I find TOI’s slide puzzling. With no news from TOI can we assume that a portion of the selling is profit taking and some is the downward momentum spurred by such selling? Perhaps there’s no way to know.
I have been considering selling some or all of my CSU position to participate in a TOI upswing, though I hate to part with it, but the gain has been large. TFSA, so no tax implications.
Am I being too greedy, or is this an opportunity?

Q: Peter
Would this be the right time to buy into this company now or would you believe that it may still go down a bit between now and the last week of december.

Q: Hello, if my calculations and interpretation are correct the 5i Balanced Equity Portfolio 5yr annualized return is 11.05% which is pretty good. But at the same time why would i not just invest in an index fund such as XIU which has a very similar 5 yr annualized return of 11.07% or SPY which comes in at 18.93%
Q: Hello, Between BYD and DOO, Knowing that they are both in different industries and are both great business, which is a better business with better growth prospects in earnings and revenue and with a long runway for growth. I also see that DOO is decreasing their share count whereas BYD has increased share count over the years..And which would you buy at the current market price? Thanks.

Q: They're are 7 analysts following this stock with an average of 12.45 12 months out. Does it have any chance to doing this. Do they get these targets on a perfect scenario because it seems far fetched to me. What does 5i have as a target price.
Q: Further on Magna, why wouldn't Biden's desire to protect the US auto industry, in particular EVs, not be a risk to Magna?
Q: Just joined 5i Would like to know where you stand with Well Health. Bought it about 18-20 months ago on Peter’s research.

Q: Wow, really getting pummeled today. I was searching to see if there was news re a financing tied to the acquisition announced today, but couldn't find anything. Any news out there that you can see which could be contributing to today's drop. Seems the wind coming out of TFII sails lately.
