Q: I am trying to replicate the Growth as well as the Balanced Portfolios. I have funds to add two half positions and the 7 stocks listed are the only stocks I currently do not hold. Which would be your top 2 picks and what is the rationale.

Many thanks

Q: Hi
I have small position in PIH in my tfsa. I thought I might sell it now instead of wait for the takeover. Could you please make some suggestions of what to replace it with.
Thank you.

Q: I have held CXI for a long time and am willing to hold longer. However, I am intrigued by PEO, particularly because of Peter's continued interest in it. The question is, do I cash CXI in and buy PEO? Does PEO present a better growth option than CXI or if/when CXI comes out of its doldrums would you expect CXI to show better growth over the next few years? Given I have held CXI this long and consider myself a long term investor, I am wondering if I would be "betraying" my philosophy if I sell or am I just being unreasonably fearful that I would miss out on CXI?

I am looking at exchanging these two as it would maintain my financial sector holdings.

Appreciate your insight.

Paul F.

Q: Stocks in your model portfolios. TNC - when is this takeover going to be completed? It seems like it is taking a long time.
ITC - this stock is the majority of the time under $2.00 and for the short period of time that it goes above $2.00, everyone hits the sell button and it goes back below $2.00. Should I be hitting the sell button the next time it gets over $2.00 because it is the worst performing stock in my portfolio. PEO - also has over the last two months been another under-performer and so should I get out of it? Thank you for your good service Dennis.

Q: A friend worked at PEO a few years back and mentioned the stock to me at .30 saying in conversation the CEO - who she had a great respect for - suggested he was building this company to a $10.00 share price. After watching the company, I took an initial position, then added to it when 5i came on board. I am overweight now and it continues to rise. I'm curious why he would pick $10.00, would that be a market cap where bidders would step in, an exit point perhaps? I realize you cant read minds, but after seeing companies built and sold, any thoughts here? What would be the main risks with this company?
