Q: I sold ARX for a tax loss in late Dec, and put the funds in SIS.
30 days later, part of me wants to buy the ARX back because it was a stable company with a good balance sheet, and because I took the loss.
I look to 5D for sober thought: is ARX a good buy at this price, or should I just count my losses and not double down?

Q: Merry Xmas
Six months ago, it was suggested PEY needed a bit more time. Since then it as dropped a little more. So far I have taken a 50% hit. It is in my RRIF Would you suggest selling now or holding longer. A month or two ago, it seemed to be moving in the right direction, but that all changed recently.
Another big loser of mine in my RRIF is ARC. Would you consider selling it or holding.

Q: Any suggestions on how to benefit from the recent rise in Natural Gas prices?

It seems like things are still pretty hopeless in Canadian energy despite huge gains in natural gas prices.

Q: The three stocks I’m considering selling are the above. I’m curious about kpt especially the fundamentals as when it was recommended by the Globe that was one of its selling points. It had dropped a lot even before the market correction.
For us stocks I wonder about jnj, pg and wba.

Q: As all eyes and ears are patiently waiting for the Canadian LNG FID announcement, how would you rate for a 3-5 years investment the following O&G and Infrastructure players in this strategic LNG play;
A) Rate from best to worst small & medium sized gas and liquids players namely AAV, ARX, BIR, CR, KEL, PONY and TOU or other O&G company you would suggest

B) Critical pipeline and midstream player benefiting from this huge NG and condensate liquids volume surge TRP, ENB, PPL KEY or others you would suggest

Q: Which of these two companies would you suggest if Im looking for a two year hold without too much volatility. I like the bigger dividend of ARX but TOU seems more stable? Or is there a better choice?

Q: I have held these two stocks for a number of years and I am a great deal under water on both.Would you recommend selling these at this time and move on to GC or DOO or maybe some other stocks you may suggest.
