Q: Hi 5i. I have 18% of my entire well balanced PFS in US stocks. I'm thinking this may be a good time to use 2 or 3% of my Canadian cash which is 8.5% of my PFS to buy US dollars to eventually buy another US stock. Do you concur? I am thinking our dollar is going to fall in the next 6 to 12 months but I await your ideas.
Thanks guys. I'm up 30 % since I joined in April 2014...

Q: Are you going to be writing a Report on Freshii soon?
What kind of rating would it get
You think there are good potentials at this level with the expected growth in the next 2 years?

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Would you be OK with switching from TOU to TOG? I realize that TOU is more of a natural gas stock compared to TOG, but I'd like to collect a dividend while 'waiting', and TOG seems to have better prospects going forward. This switch would essentially maintain our O/G sector weighting.
Thanks as always for your insight.

Q: Hello 5i,
Just a further note to Steven's question about ex-dividend and dividend payout: Be careful if you sell a position that is in a DRIP since it is possible, if one is not careful, to end up with a small number of shares (1, 2, ??) resulting from the DRIP even though you completely sold out of a position. I know this is possible because I let it happen to me - once.
I hope this might help even just one person not make the same mistake!

Q: I'm thinking of selling CSU after a 125% gain and moving the funds into ENGH. I'm looking for long term growth of 10+ years. Thoughts?
Q: Any news on why MT is halted
Q: Altagas Limited ( ALA ) is selling subscription receipts at a price of $31, and I have committed to a purchase. My prime reason for doing so it to enjoy the relatively generous current dividend of about 6.4%. What is your opinion as to whether the company can continue to pay this dividend and the future stock price outlook?
Q: Hello 5I Team
Please comment on FB Q-4 earnings , is it still a long term hold ?
I own shares in Facebook for over 2 years and have done well.
I would like to hold it for the next 10 years , what are your thoughts ?
Regards
Claudio

Q: Hi,
I purchased DIS just over a year ago at $111.58 USD. It closed today at $111.30 USD, showing that I'm down 4.4% in my BMOInvestorline brokerage account.
Math isn't my forte but that unrealized loss doesn't sound accurate to me. Is it somehow a reflection of the currency fluctuations? I don't understand.
Thanks,
Robert

Q: Hello Team, Elon Musk is building his battery Gigafactory in Sparks Nevada. It appears there are 14 other battery Gigafactories on the drawing boards, soon to be built around the world. The demand for batteries to power EV's and everything in your house will continue to push up the demand for Lithium. ALB controls 22% of world Li supply, so seems like a good large cap choice. For a more speculative pic I am considering, PE,LAC, or GALXF. Do you have any thoughts on these stocks or other Li stocks you prefer? Thanks Team Chris

Q: I understand that to be eligible for a dividend payment you have to own a stock on the ex dividend date. For example National Bank ex dividend was Dec. 22nd, 2016. My question is do you still have to be holding the stock on the payout date, which for National Bank was Feb. 1st, 2017. Thanks.
Q: made another repayment to cinven today from cash on hand. any comments please.
Q: RIC is up yesterday and today with what appears to be slightly heavier trading. Would you happen to have any insight to share?
Thank you

Q: Hi 5i Team - May there be some hope for shareholders of Peabody or will their shares be worthless after the reorg?
Q: I have a follow up to Chad's question. And I'm sorry to beat this issue to death (last question on the topic). But you mention Litner's acquisition of 307k share on January 26th, but Canadianinsider.com lists those vary 307k shares as exercised options (0.15 per share). I've also been watching Litner sell a ton of common shares (well over a million) over the past ~45 days on canadianinsider.com with no mention of any actual buying in the public market. Does your insider sales source that shows "Net" buying take into consideration the difference between exercising options and true acquisitions in the public market? Is the information on Candianinsider.com to be trusted? I know investors shouldn't put a lot of stock into insider sales as these individuals can be selling for a number of personal reasons unrelated to the stock, but the number of shares Litner disposed of seemed quite substantial to me.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
