Q: You've recently described Chipotle as expensive, even after a large drop since mid-June. What would you consider a reasonable valuation for it now, and do you see the surprise and very sudden departure of the CEO (and any other talent he poaches from there) as affecting its future prospects?
Q: I hold Lumine and I am trying to understand why Lumine's business seems to be shrinking outside of acquisitions. Is it because Wideorbit is such a large driver of revenue, and Wideorbit sells ads to TV and radio which are both declining industries? I guess the question then becomes are they moving away from TV and radio generally in terms of their recent acquisitions? Thanks.
Q: Please provide an update on this security.
I hold it in my RRSP. It hasn’t done much, But I am a patient investor. Would you continue to hold?
Thank you kindly,
Q: Peter; Good thing renewal is coming up after this I’m done to one ? With your old traders hat on what did you think of this mornings announcement of the Singapore group jumping in for $2M of the flow thru.? Thanks.

Q: My daughter is in mid-career and does not have the time to monitor individual stocks in her portfolio. She already has a mostly ETF portfolio but is wondering what to do with the remaining individual Canadian stocks. TFII, FTS, CM, LMN and TOI amount to16% of her portfolio, are all solidly in the green, but MG, AQN, BEP.un, LSPD and QST are all significantly in the red and amount to only 1.5% of her portfolio. Would you ride the first group which is doing well and just jettison the second group and fold the funds into a Canadian stock ETF? Thanks as always for your advice.
Q: I am overweight both of these names. I am hoping for a recovery pop at which time I will seek to sell down a bit and spread the money out. Can you please give me a few other names that you might suggest for growth at this time? I sold booking holdings at a loss so please exclude that name. I am too afraid to buy back smci due to its wild volatility. I was consider coherent, Motorola, and Monolithic Power but am open to other suggestions. Thank you.
Q: I have held Linamar shares for a number of years but am becoming somewhat frustrated by their performance. Shares trade at about the same price that they traded at in Oct 2020. Apparently investors just do not seem interested in the company. The recent quarter results seemed reasonable but the shares immediately went down $3. So, in today's market what would be your rationale for continuing to hold the shares, or is it time to sell and move elsewhere?
