Q: How is the dividend for this ETF taxed?
Q: current bid/ask on Crius is $8.65/$8.66 - this is about 15 cents a share less than the payout price of $8.80 or about $150. per 1000 shares. why is there such a difference on the current stock price vs the buyout price?

Q: Hi, from a recent Globe article (excerpt below) it appears a substantial activist shareholder group is taking issue with the deal announced with BEP. Do you feel it has the potential to derail the Deal or substantially modify it. So far the market has not reacted to this news. Thanks.

Spokespersons at TransAlta and Brookfield declined to comment.
“Let me be clear: Our goal is not to stop this transaction, but rather to ensure that the company retains the option to pursue or renegotiate a better one," Mangrove Partners’ Mr. August said.”

Q: I've read both letters to shareholders over this board fight and would appreciate your view and possible outcomes to shareholders. My first opinion is that this activist shareholder wants an immediate , short term return of capital, and that their 4 nominees are not qualified.

Q: Hi, my kids are 12 and 14. They are both avid savers and my wife and I regularly talk to them about investing and long term planning. Recently they have both read “The Richest Man in Babylon”. This has gotten them excited to really start investing. What do you see as the easiest and most effective way for minors to hold stocks? They’re RESPs are already filled and invested every year so that’s not an option for more.
