Q: Thanks for the prompt reply to my Lightspeed question. Do you think it is overvalued at $60 - up from a $10 low - or would you be buying today?
Thanks.
Q: I see on BNN today that CP&CNR are getting pressure on releasing gas emissions (carbon imprint ) really i think they both have a terrible environmental record and seem to be untouchable,so with a little more of a spotlight possibly coming and the use of toxic ties along every river and waterway in canada do you think it may be time to sell SJ or do you do you think it will make very little impact on SJ bottom line. Also i see a lot of concrete ties starting to be used these days in their double tracking to the westcoast
Q: This week Pfizer spun-out Viatris as a Reverse Morris Trust Transaction. I understand the purpose of this type of transaction is to make it non-taxable. Are there income tax consequences for a Canadian citizen who owned Pfizer at the time of the spin-out?
Are Viatris shares worth holding?
Can you comment on their most recent earnings and their prospects overall? I am a physician and I find some of their products very helpful so I am considering investing in the company.
Q: Hi there,
From my understanding these two companies are similar. Of course MGNI is smaller, soaring and according to MS is at fair value. While TTD is double MS fair value.
It was mentioned that TTD would have been Peter's Top Pick #4 on the last BNN visit.
So given all this... would you suggest MGNI (I have a 1/3 position already) or TTD? Many thanks.
Q: Looking to invest in the electric vehicle/battery space. Would appreciate your opinion on these ETF's, any preference or other ETF's to consider. Thanks for a great service. Brian
I have been watching on the sidelines as crsr sails away, especially after their big earnings beat. With REAL disappointing the market today would it be advisable to sell half of Real to buy into crsr? Thanks
Q: I would like to know what you can suggest as a canadian bond ETF that is reliable and gives a decent performance. I currently have XGB (IShares Cdn Government Bond Index ETF) but the yield is low. Previously I had MFT (Mackenzie Floating Rate Income ETF) giving a better yield. Is one is better than the other or is there a better choice? Also, is there any bond that instead of giving a yield gives a capital gain? It would be particularly interesting for my non registered account since I want to reduce the amount of interest that I receive to avoid clawback.
Q: What companies will benefit most by providing the logistics for distribution of the virus vaccine? Would Americold Trust, COLD be one of these companies?
Q: What are your thoughts of Viatris (combination of Mylan and Upjohn)? Shares were received from Pfizer. I'd looked at Mylan recent quarterly statements and did not see any red flags. Looking forward what is its potential? Hold or sell? Thank you.
Q: Hi folks. Thank you for all your expertise. I have SNOW and would like to either add CRWD OR PANW but was wondering if they are similar to SNOW. Can you please advise if it's worth one or just stick with SNOW. Thanks Dan
Q: I'm trying to get control of the major components of the Brookfield Corporation and what percentage of the company they make up. I understand that BEPC AND BIP.UN are parts of the group and that they seen to be adding to its success. My question is what percentage of the company do they make up and what other major segments of the company exist and what percentage of Brookfield do they comprise? I currently own some shares. Do you think now is a good time to add to a reasonable position?
