Q: I had some money in Mawer New Canada Fund (small caps)
is there another mutual fund of high quality that you would consider as small cap
or an ETF for small cap (Canada)?

Q: I currently own both these mutual fund and trying to own less stocks and mutual funds and would like to know if both of these need to be owned? I currently have a 6% weight in PMIF and only a 2.3 % weight in FAD5700 and thinking of selling FAD5700 and adding to PMIF, or should I sell both and invest all in a different ETF that recommended in my PA?

For fresh money going into the Canadian Utilities/Regulated Sector(?) what would be your top 3 current suggestions for a diversified/balanced unregistered portfolio?

I am very surprised by the paucity of questions on Gold sector, especially when some of the regular BNN experts like Ross Healy and many others in Seeking Alpha seem to think that the support of 1300 plus will hold and Gold's time to shine is finally here.

Q: I’m underwater multi fathoms on this stock. I invested for the talent and expertise of Mike Rose and his team but the sector has been somewhat of a disaster despite his best efforts. It represents 1.25% of my portfolio now, down from about 2.75%. That’s bad enough but worse, I hold it in my RIF, so no write off. What would you do? Hold on to this small position or dispose of it and move on?

Q: Last question on this company dates back to 2017. It has had a nice ride up; but is currently taking an ugly and fast ride down. Down 15% for me in about 1 week alone. My “rules” say sell! Should I? Or can hanging in anticipation of a turnaround be justified?

What does the future look like for this company based on your analysis?

Q: My TFSA is 1% and my RRSP is 5% of my overall portfolio, does it matter what stocks I invest in? I have maintained a balanced portfolio (excluding utilities, energy) in my RRSP but I am thinking I don't need to do this. My TFSA has returned over 300% in three years so I get some enjoyment out of that. I have reduced some of my high fliers but have recently stopped doing that, deciding them to let them soar (keeping in mind that could dive as well). Thanks

Q: Looking to add some ETF's in my accounts - can you explain the difference between funds that are Hedged and those that are not Hedged. What would be better to buy at this time and are they more suitable for a TFSA or a non registered account.
