Looking for your assessment after what seems to be another disappointing quarter?
I own the stock, are there better places for healthcare exposure?

Q: My holding in CMMC is down almost 30%, in a taxable account. It was a small position before, and even smaller now. I am thinking of selling it and taking the tax loss;

1. Would you stay in materials? To me. an outlook for inflation says yes, and outlook for recession says no; which way do you lean?

2. If staying in materials, what would you buy in place? And do you prefer whatever you might be thinking of or would you go back to CMMC after 30 days?

Q: Good Day All,

I hold the above in an income oriented portfolio. Looking to allocate more money to tech if I can find anything that meets the criteria of a reasonably secure dividend with a minimum 4% yield, on a Cdn exchange. Tough to find in this sector but thought I would ask for any suggestions you may have. I could also just add to the above if you can find nothing better.

Q: Please rank the following companies for long term holds in a TFSA, with a management rating for each. (10 being the best)

Also, I currently hold SHOP and CSU.. Do you feel LSPD and TOI overlap these larger companies too much to consider a position ?

Please suggest any other Canadian companies not listed for long term holds.

Q: Would now be a favourable time to invest in Canadian utilities. Could you offer 2 or 3 dividend paying utilities ( over 5%) .

Would covered call ZWU be a good choice ?

Q: Can you recommend etfs to setup a smith maneuver account with target dividend of around 4-5%?

Q: Other than higher interest rates, is there a reason the US housing REITS have been so weak of late? Does the same reason apply to CAR.UN which have been down.

Q: Those 3 are well underwater but I like all 3 for their long term potential. I need some tax loss and I'm thinking to sell one or all and buy back in 30 days. I wonder if you could think of proxy titles to replace for the next 30 days or just leave the money on the sidelines. Would you sell all or not? DOO is the closest to breaking even is 12% down. The others are down in the 30% range and are very volatile. I need an opinion to help me decide. Thank you.

Q: I have a feeling the economy of Alberta is going to pick up considerably over the next few years and would like to invest in several sectors of their economy that could provide good capital gains to investors. I already have several oil and gas companies so I don't need guidance on that sector. If you know of other companies in different sectors that should benefit from a growing economy I would appreiate it if you could share some of them with me.

Q: I have about 10% of my portfolio in NVDA currently, and am . I have a 20+ year time horizon. Is this too risky of a position to take? Would I be better to put some or all of the money into XQQ, VUG, or GOOG to de-risk and position myself for long term returns?

Q: Hi 5i, I'm invested in Nestle and like the diversification and div. but the problem is the fees my broker charges me when I receive the dividend they take approx. one third of it even though its in an RRSP. Guess the tax treaty with the US doesn't matter here. Can you give me another suggestion and do you know if the international ETFs have this problem?
