Q: Hello Team
I am hearing different comments, and one from David Rosenberg in particular, suggesting it is quite possible to see a 60cent dollar in the not too distant future and I would appreciate your thoughts. Further to this personally I feel that the markets seem to be going through a period of "irrational exuberance" and personally I feel we are only at the beginning of what is to come in terms of a downturn in the Canadian economy. With this in mind, what would your thought be of changing some Canadian dollars in my accounts to US dollars for investment purposes. I would also consider using a US ETF such as GLD to play the rising gold stocks. Appreciate your thoughts
Q: The assisted living industry has been hit hard by the pandemic. Do you think this sector is going to face more issues and for investors, is it best to steer clear even though the baby boomer senior population in Canada is growing?
Between CSH.un and SIA, is one better than the other for 3 yrs hold and why? Or is it best to sell both names? Many thanks.
Q: If a person is concerned about the bank of Canada printing so much money , that it starts to lose its value and the money I have saved up in cash starts to lose its value as well , what can a person do to protect the value of the money you have . And how would a person go about doing this? thanks , especially during this crazy economy.
Q: From an investment perspective, is the primary reason to invest in a real return bond to receive the inflation-adjusted value of the principal at maturity to maintain purchasing power, and not so much to receive the "real" interest rate payout on invested capital along the way?
If this is so, is it better to hold individual bonds with fixed maturities of shorter duration rather than an ETF like ZRR where the value fluctuates with the perceived interest rate environment, and purchasing power isn't preserved because it never actually matures?
Q: opinion question, the markets seem to be bouncing back.
What is your opinion on the market bottom having been reached?
What are the 3 biggest variables to affect the canadian markets in the next 6 to 12 months?
Q: Cnbc headlines: market rallies are based onHOPE of a cure by Gilead. Nothing is conclusive?
Thought hope was not a good investing strategy. Also us gdp contracted by 4.8% in 1st quarter 2020. So fundamentals where far from good to begin with.
When do you think the market will go back to fundamentals?
This could be the reason for 5 trillion on the sideline?
Your view would be most appreciated.
Thanks!

Focuses other than virtual health and medical clinics?
Q: Would appreciate your overview and assessment of Athabasca $70 Million Upsized Bitumen Royalty and additional resiliency actions announced by the company yesterday after the close. Do you know how much of their production is hedged and how far out? Thank you.
