Q: Do you feel there's a good chance that we are in the midst of a true rotation to growth? What are a few Canadian and US names you think are well positioned to outperform in this scenario?

Q: This question was asked by Atchuta on November 20, 2023.
"My wife took early retirement with DB plan. Her RRSP and TFSA are well diversified. She has enough money to invest in about 10 companies. This money is not needed in foreseeable future. However, a small dividend is appreciated along with capital appreciation. It will be invested in a regular account.
Can you please suggest top 12 companies."

What would be your answer if it was an RRSP account instead of a regular account, would you change anything ?

Q: I have 13% of my portfolio in diverse covered calls that hold blue chip companies. I am comfortable with that as I look mainly for income. The portfolio is composed of 30% ETF's including the covered calls and 70% individual stocks (16/56). there are a few growth but mostly dividend paying blue chip many that are repeated in the covered call ETF's. I am 77, and have a defined teacher pension.
Total positions are 56. This seems to suit my needs as I have survived so far with a steady income. Am I making a misake or does this seem a valid plan?

Q: Hi

Presently own ZDI in our RRSP.

I am thinking of replacing ZDI with KKR & BRK.B.

KKR and BRK.B are bigger and are like an ETF without the fees.

Also in the long run I think KKR and BRK.B it will have better growth than ZDI .

We would be giving up a good dividend with ZDI go.

Q: Hi !

I am looking for an industrial stock for my TFSA. Strong growth in a short period of time is the objective.

What do you think of Target Hospitality (th-q), Vertiv (vrt-n), Preformed Line (plpc-q), MDA Ltd (mda-t), Doman Bldg (DBM-t) ?

Any other suggestion ?

Q: Is LSPD recent results (Nov 2nd) represent a significant improvement or you would still stay on the side line before adding or starting new position? How would you compare NUVEI and LSPD today?

Q: Dear 5i
The mean analyst recommendation in Yahoo finance is 1.8 whereas in 5i s website under market data it shows 1.22 for VRT . I assume the market data you show thru your website has more accuracy and therefore more validity . Is that a safe assumption .?Out of curiosity where does your market data come from anyways ?

Q: can you describe the step by step process used by LMN to acquire a VSM company ? do they give existing management shares of LMN or pay them a combo of cash and stock? does LMN assume debt when adding to the VSM portfolio?. does existing management continue to have a stake in the newly acquired VSM company ? if so what percent? are there non compete clauses? does existing management have a relatively free rein in future corporate decisions? thanks Richard

Q: Everyone, CSU shares, to my knowledge, have never split and as of today the share price is $3185 ish. What would it take for CSU to split their shares? I understand it’s does nothing financially but give you more shares. Clayton

Q: Can you explain FTNT and PANW drop on earnings and mostly how if you think it can impact or not CRWD?

I think they droped because of lowered previsions and i see some insiders selling but no buying.
