I really like Bam but it is starting to take a higher % of my total portfolio.

Q: Everyone,
If one was to start buying LSPD when would you start. I don’t sell or buy very often because I am a long term holder but I am interested in adding to my position. I would look at a minimum of three up days in a row with above average or heavy trading volumes with a minimum of 15% gain in those days. Fundamentally nothing has changed in the last few months except the price people are willing to pay for growth. What are your thoughts.

I'm looking to add to my TFSA. No concern with volatility and looking to hold for minimum 3-5 years. I already hold TOI (1/2 position) but don't yet own any LSPD. Would you favour adding to existing TOI or start a new (small-ish) position in LSPD. If you were to start a position in LSPD, how would you go about deciding on when to buy? I struggle with this...the stock is down quite a bit, so $60/share seems attractive but would you prefer 2-3 days of positive momentum before buying? Do you use technical analysis (I have no experience with this) when considering an entry into these growth stocks? Invariably I'm always wrong when trying to time a good entry into growth stocks but I suppose it doesn't matter too much in the long run if it performs well...

Finally, can you name 1 other growth stock you'd prefer to start a position in today (if not TOI or LSPD)?

Nickel 28's Stock price (C$0.89) certainly does not appear to reflect the production, production growth, earnings or earnings growth of this nickel/cobalt miner.

EPS – Q3 US$0.07/share, Q1-3 US$0.19/share

P/E – 2.74x (assuming Q4 similar to Q3 and converting US$ to C$)

Debt - $79 million, down from 107.1 in Q3 2020

Cash – US$3.84 million

Product Pricing – Nickel and cobalt pricing is very strong and is projected to remain so.

I find this stock price to be very frustrating. What problem am I missing? Chinese partner? Venture Exchange? Microcap? Illiquid? Geography?

Q: Good day. In various news updates etc. on some of the stocks I own I see press releases from law firms reaching out to investors who have lost money investing in a certain company to contact them regarding potential class action. Are these notifications non-events with law firms fishing for business or is something else going on? Investors in Novavax with losses exceeding $100,00 is the most recent request I've seen. Thanks

Q: Earlier I asked whether it is allowed to transfer the "dividends" only of a stock that pays those dividends in $US - I have the stock in my Cdn RRSP and I would like to transfer the $US "dividends" to my $US RRSP in order to save fx fees. I beleive it is called "journalling". Your reply noted the word "stock" not dividends.

Q: Everyone, at times when the market is in a short term downward trend I look at the companies 3 or 5 year share price and it always cheers me up. If the fundamentals have not changed then the long term trend will always continue UP :) Clayton

Q: Toi closed the end of oct at $138. To day it was as low as $98 before recovering slightly.
Do you think Csu and Toi insiders are selling Toi shares to provide funds to the new venture capital fund?
Does Toi have their own acquisition team or do they rely on Csu?
Is Toi restricted to only Europe ?
Would they have enough cash flow to finance an acquisition or will they have to borrow or issue shares?
Finally if one planned to invest $30,000. today in Csu and Toi for at least a a 5 year hold,how should one proportion it?

Q: Dear 5i,
I often see and hear the word "growth" describing a particular stock in the media. This term seems very nebulous to me. Does it refer to earnings growth, sales growth, revenue growth, operating cash flow growth, free cash flow growth, others??? Analysts often say a stock is expected to grow 10% but, what does that really mean? Hope you can clarify.

Q: Many of my quick growing stocks have been hit recently and I'm sorry I didn't sell some when they were doing well. TRI continues to perform well and hasn't been hit by recent market fear. Do you consider it worth holding long term or would you sell?

Q: First Call Consensus has upgraded XBC from Hold to Buy. would this be a signal to average down if one was so inclined?
