Q: I know you are not a fan of the weed stocks but being a long time holder of Aphria I think with the change of mindset in the US and the reverse merger coming and adding in the sweetwater deal that good things might emerge here. I believe once this marriage happens a large multinational will finally make a buy in offer. If canopy growth did not have the buy in from constellation they would not be trading where they are as they constantly lose money. I would appreciate your thoughts please.

Q: Hello 5i
I own the four companies listed above and have been hearing some good things about 1Life healthcare(ONEM). How would you rank these five companies, mainly for growth but also how much confidence you might have in them.
Thank you
Dave

Q: I have been dithering about buying AC in my TFSA for some time now and would appreciate your read on the stock, primarily from a political aspect. Seems the federal government is not in love with the sector as it continues refusing to pay out cancellation money. However the government recognizes the critical national role it plays and AC’s historical relationship to government national transportation policy. Then there is the government’s push to severely contain international travel. So many moving parts. I get a sense that it is too early to buy and best to get more clarity forsaking the initial pop the stock would take on good news. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Derek

Q: Hi Peter...More of a comment than a question...RBC Direct shows the book cost of our new TOI shares as $0.01 even though they also acknowledge that the stock opened at $66 per share. A book cost of $0.01 suggests a sizeable capital gain. I have spoken to RBC Direct but so far the book cost has not changed. I was thinking of transferring my TOI Margin account shares to my TFSA account where I also hold TOI shares as a contribution in-kind. However I don't want to trigger a big capital gain and then fight with RBC to get it corrected later. It's early days so I will monitor the share status and hopefully RBC will get it corrected. I suppose CRA will have the final say on wether the TOI shares are a dividend or not.

Q: The price of natural gas seems to be rising, particularly LNG in Asia. First question: Is that correct and, if so, is that the spot price or are long term contracts rising similarly? Does it indicate increasing demand?
If Altagas is primarily a utility involved in the transportation, processing, and use of gas, what is the company's net exposure to increasing gas prices, positive or negative?
