Q: Was around $7 then a Murray Wealth Group report leaked that they will miss earnings on the high side. The stock went fro $7 to $5. Then the earnings came out and after initially rising over $5, they have now dropped to $3.70.

Was the earnings bad enough to warrant this drop? Does this make sense or is the a "table pounding buy" with a present PE of lower than 10?
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I own the above noted stocks as a smaller portion of my portfolio of higher risk names. All of these names are down other than CTS. Do you see any of these names as ones that I should sell as part of a portfolio clean up?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Q: Hi,
Best tax loss proxies for these four names? Also is there a $ limit to what you should sell for tax loss purposes because its a guarantee. For example, I'm down 15% on KEL but its only a small position. The $ value is only down $2k. So whether the $ loss value is small or not ($2k vs $10k), is it still better off to sell it for the tax loss every year end and move into a proxy name such as TVE? Or is it better just to hold? Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i,
I need to access some cash by selling some TFSA holdings and hope you can give me advice as to the best way to go about that.
I'm nicely up on WCP and TVE, and with dividends accounted for close to break even on DBM. CTS, CURA, QST and WELL are down a lot, and GXE is down some but not too bad.
Selling 1/4 of the WCP or 1/2 of the TVE or DBM would cover my cash requirement, whereas I'd have to offload pretty much all of any one of the others at their presently reduced values to get where i need to be.
If I didn't need the cash I wouldn't sell anything at present, in the expectation that WCP and TVE will continue to do well, that DBM will at least hold steady, probably rise relatively soon and keep paying dividends, and that the others will find their way out of the woods in due course. But unfortunately I don't have that luxury.
Given the above, could you advise what i might best hold on to, and what might be best to sell in fairly short order?
Thanks!
Peter
