Q: Peter, I read your article in the National Post on Saturday. You focus on a handful of companies that are superior according to your filters. Of these how would you rank the companies above? And have you any information about them which you would like to add? Thanks for your insights.

Q: your article in the financial post was very insightful.
the only stock to make 2 different screens was enerflex and yet it is near its 52 week lows, its chart looks horrible. why is this, i think because it is related to the energy complex but not sure.can you help, i had this stock in my watchlist forever.
also nice to see goeasy on the harder to make last screen, nothing surprising here, its always undervalued.

Q: Hello Peter, Ryan and others,
My wife bought SQ and MU when they were high. Now she has about 14% of MU and 29% of SQ of unrealized loss, and they are in her RIF. Could you give some suggestions what she should do in the current situation? Please also comment on TOY, BPY, GE, LIN, COST and NEE. We always appreciate your comments and suggestions. Many thanks! Q: 1. The Globe just published a list of Canadian companies CEO salaries and bonuses. Sorry for the odd question but I am find it very hard to understand how the CEO of Barrick deserves a salary of $3.2M and a bonus of $12.6M. I am hoping that you could help me understand a bit.
2. How does the CEO of CSU make money with a Salary and bonus of zero? Stock?

Q: Wondering about where to contribute and add to next . I have a TFSA and RSP self directed ( no unreg'd trading accounts )

Started investing in the TFSA 1st so my RSP is far behind it in $ levels . Now that I have contribution room , plus more on Jan 1 should i go with ..

Topping up EMA in my RSP , would be heaviest weighting if so with TD on top right now .
Topping up RY , NFI , MFC or NPI ( all being medium weight with TD and AQN on top )
Or adding BEP or SRU as new holding to either TFSA or RSP , leaning towards BEP myself .

Q: I have been away for a few weeks and went back to listening to my business podcasts. One that I enjoyed tremendously is the National Post podcast on climate change. It’s great listening and I do love her co relation of the climate change situation and the hysteria about it to a Monty Python skit , the fact that a lot of people are willing to blame yet very few are willing to talk about solutions. Great listening and a great explanation . the link to the podcast.

The company has no debt and seems to be in the sweet spot of growth at the moment, your views on the company and its air quality improving technologies please , thanks, Jean

Q: DAN DREYFUS make the following points on cnn.
1.pipe line constraint forces CNQ to give more $ to share holders.
2.dividend is good long term.
3.at $45 wti they can still have 4-5billion or so free cash flow for years
4. similar logic works for SU and CVE.
could you comment on the above. would you agree and why or disagree and why.

Q: I currently hold the above 3 utilities in equal weights in a well diversified portfolio and am considering adding Fortis or Emera. I'm looking for safety, dividends, and some growth. I would prefer to keep the count down to 3 stocks so could you please rank them for me?

Q: Your comments on dfn doing a financing on class a shares at 8.75. Stock now trading in 8.45 range. A buy? What price would the shares stop paying a dividend? Ala dropping this last week. Would this be from cost overrun on pipeline in us that it owns part of? Expected earnings due Oct 30?
