Q: I'm thinking about increasing my US exposure and buying VOO in my RRSP. I don't need the money for at least 10 years...
When to buy is always a bit perplexing...with the US markets at all time highs one would think that this is not a great time to be buying and it might be smarter to wait for an inevitable correction.
But at the same time, with the tax cuts that have recently gone through down south, as well as the overall improvement in the business environment, I can't see how that isn't going to drive the markets even higher.
Thoughts?

Q: Enghouse's recent announcement of the new "President", has him starting immediately, without any explanation as to a departing "President". Is it correct to assume there was no prior President of the Company, and in the past the CEO and President role were both held by Stephen Sadler, or is this a vacancy that is getting filled? Why would there not be a better explanation in the press release, this could be construed as a negative?

Q: Hello:back In the 1990’s the tsx and the Dow were just about even. Today there is about a 10000 point difference. In general terms, can you explain why this has occurred. Also I have read in several articles that the tsx usually lags the Dow by about six months to a year. (Either up or down). Do you agree with this statement. If yes will the tsx begin to narrow the gap in the next few years?
