Q: Stock is down over 8% this morning. The only news I can find is the dividend payment frequency. It's seems overdone.
What are your views?

Q: Good afternoon,
I am starting a RESP for our grandsons: one born in 2021, the other born in 2023.
To maximize the CESG grant I contribute just over 2500$/year.
How would you suggest to invest the funds ? 2 or 3 index funds?
Would you include a NASDAQ -100 index fund such as XQQ, ZQQ or HXQ or even XIT (Canadian tech ETF)?
I would appreciate your guidance.
Kind Regards

Global X Canadian High Dividend Index Corporate Class ETF (HXH)
Q: Hi Peter,
I have over 6 figures to invest for 3 or more years for a Canadian holding company and am looking for suggestions to invest in each of the sectors, in a combination of ETFs and stocks. I would like to be more tax efficient where most of the returns would be in capital gains (total returns are mostly in the growth of the stocks, less in dividends). Investments can be in any geographic areas. In terms of risk level, I am comfortable with your balance portfolio approach, where it has some elements of growth.
One example I have, closer to income than growth, is HXH-T. It is a dividend ETF, low MER cost, with beta of < 1, pretty risk adverse. The price of the stocks is the index it tracks plus dividends.
Thank you,
Roger

Q: I've been sitting for years waiting for the long awaited "potential" to become realized. Is there anything new on the horizon, or is this going to continue to be dead money?
Q: Thank you for providing a great analysis of the historical performance of LC, MC, and SC stocks after a 20% decline on Apr. 18. In a previous question asked by a member you recommended IJT as a way to buy the S&P SmallCap 600 growth stocks. What symbol do you recommend for the S&P MidCap 400 group? Thanks again for the amazing service you provide.
Q: I hold FNV in my RRIF . WPM seems to be presently performing better and predicted to continue to do so. Dividend
yield is better with WPM and market cap is not an issue. This is my only gold holding. Do you feel a switch is
justified.? Thanks for your help

Q: Hi, Lumine is hitting new highs, Today $18-$19. Any thoughts ? Also, does it change the reasonable entry price level to add some shares ( from the last suggested $13.50-$14). Is it prudent to wait for a couple of quarterly results, as a publicly traded entity ?
Our current ownership is only the original spun out shares received. ( about 0.35% holding)
Thank You

Q: I have done very well on Novo Nordisk - likely because of the hype around Ozempic. Despite selling 10%, my position is likely close to double what I'd consider a typical holding.
I don't need the money and the stock has been a good long term hold. I am inclined towards holding a somewhat "fat" position. How do you see the valuation and is there any way to assess the value of things they have in the works?

Q: Just wonder your thoughts on this. Is it safe investment, has it been around long, is dividend safe. Would you buy for a long term hold? Thanks.
Q: what is your opinion of this small cap energy co ?
Q: In response to a recent question about TCS, you said “We would be comfortable adding to the position given the recent weakness in share price.”
Would you sell ILLM to buy more TCS, which I already own, or add to GOOGL, which I also own and which I know you like, or would you stick it out with ILLM?
I have held ILLM for a long time, and don’t want to sell if it has more potential than the other stocks mentioned. But I would hate to see a tech rally over the next few years while ILLM sits on the side lines. Do you think the recent ticker symbol change could be signalling a forthcoming change in strategy?

Q: Hi 5i
Wondering if you know of a US equivalent of vbal, that a Canadian can buy. From my own search, it seems like there is onlya US mutual fund equivalent, which Canadians can’t buy. But maybe you have other information.
Thanks

Q: May I please have your comments on the latest quarter from Enphase?
Is this a wait and see or do you feel that there is long term potential?

Q: Given the current economic climate and potential future trends, which industries or sectors do you believe are well-positioned for long-term growth in the stock market, and what specific Canadian and US companies within those industries or sectors do you believe have strong fundamentals and potential for long-term momentum?
Thank you!
Derek.

Q: With a PE of 26.5 (and falling), CTS is starting to scream "buy" at me, although 5i has cautioned about declining rates of growth during what may or may not be a recession. Is it's debt (1.8 times EBITDA I believe) a concern, or are there other caution signals (e.g. rising shorts or no recent insider buying)?

Q: With the offer on the table and the share price having moved so close to the asking price would you sell now? Also, could you please outline the details of the offer and the pros and cons. Thank you. John
