Q: I'm looking for your comparison of these companies for a minimum 1 year (hopefully longer) holding. The future dividend growth and share appreciation hold equal weight for me.

Q: Can you list 6 companies with high ROE values ? Please exclude CSU and ATD.B. as well as the oil sector. Thanks. Joe
Q: Company has announced a re-purchase program using a "modified Dutch auction". As I understand it, unit holders must "opt-in" to the program to participate. Please discuss the offer, the process, and provide thoughts on whether unit holders should tender units for sale. Thank you.

Q: Vince Martin, in an article on Seeing Alpha, wrote an extensive article on TSGI as "Cheap for a reason". One main point is they think Stars overpaid for Sky. That acquisition delivered a huge profit about the time of the purchase, and the acquisition would have been profitable if that were normal profit. However government is increasing their take and according to the report, ongoing profits will be challenged to repeat. Have you seen this report, and what do you think? Vince also said that the PE of competitors is also low right now, so they don't compare favorably with the competition.

Q: Could you comment on results ?
Q: Hi, Recent pre release took many of us by surprise. We are reviewing our portfolio position in Savaria (Currently 3.75%). For a Balanced Growth and Income portfolio, you have indicated in a recent response, the right weighting as 2-2.5%. But, 5i Balanced portfolio has 4.24 % weight presently (reduced from 4.5 to 5% earlier due to price decline).
Is your response based on the recent pre announcment of their results ? Are you recommending that we reduce our holding to recommneded weight, all else being same as Balanced Portfolio ? If so, when do you plan to make the change?
Thanks

Q: Please provide your updated view on this company. Is all well with the growth trajectory?
-
BMO Nasdaq 100 Equity Hedged To CAD Index ETF (ZQQ)
-
iShares NASDAQ 100 Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XQQ)
-
Global X Nasdaq-100 Index Corporate Class ETF (HXQ)
Q: which of the 3 ETF listed do you like the best? I am looking at buying the HXQ as it is not hedge but notice from reading the liquidity is not very good so if there was a problem would it hard to get out of this ETF if needed?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: The fixed income portion of my portfolio is largely made up of high yield corporate Canadian bonds. Infrequently, during the past decade or so, a company will exercise its right to "call" one of my bonds, and an early redemption occurs. This past week, however, a high number of companies have called their bonds, many to be redeemed next month. The companies include Parkland Fuel, Russel Metals, Cascade, Air Canada, Superior Plus, Laurentian Bank, Sobeys, Cameco and Brookfield Asset Management. I am very puzzled as to why so many different bonds are being called at the same time? I also want to endorse a recent comment made by Lance about Hank Cunningham's book, which as very helpful in my early bond-investing days.
Q: Hi there,
I use VectorVest which is great for a lot of things but it does not allow to sort/filter based on RSI. I can't find a function anywhere that allows me to identify the most oversold stocks (aside from the Globe's once a week article). Do you know of a tool that can be used to sort and identify stocks based on RSI?
Thanks!
