Q: Hi Peter & Team
which of these two mid cap value ETF would you choose and why?
IJJ & IWS
I can see IJJ has out-performed a bit more over the last year.
I am looking for a five year hold in my TFSA.
This would be around 20% of my holdings with 80% in growth (ARKK, ARKF and Cdn growth stocks.
Thanks, Ron

Q: Hi Guys,
I bought COPX as a way to invest indirectly in the change over to EV's given that an EV uses double the amount of copper in each vehicle and would hold for a number of years. I still think its a good choice, however I'm now thinking perhaps I should have spread the risk with a broader based commodity ETF, can you suggest a broader based commodity ETF in Canada & the USA that you would consider building a position in over time.
Best regards,
Tom

Q: My largest bond fund is pmo205. As bond funds go, it is highly rated. The effective (avg?) duration is 3 yrs. In this interest rate environment, would you replace it with short-terms bond funds (hfr, csd)?

Q: Ignoring risk, please rank these companies based on 5 year hold -potential for returns.
Q: Simple question. My average cost of Xebec is $9.86. Obviously not good. Your suggestion please dump it and move on, buy more or just wait it out. Obviously a long way back. Thank You..
Q: With a good yield and a possible upside in price, what is you view for a registered account. would there be any retention of taxes in a RSP account?
Thank you

Q: Risk tolerance in TFSA high. Both spouses are vested in defined benefit pension. 5 to 15 year timeframe. I am thinking of slowly adding to existing XBC position and initiating MITK position. Would you suggest waiting until after XBC reports? I worry a good buying opportunity will be lost if we don't add to that position in advance. Do we have a timeframe around the MITK legal situation?

Q: Hi 5i,
TFII just released news that it is planning to pay out its dividend in US dollars unless the shareholder elects to take the money in C$. Based on this change, would one be right to journal over the shares to a US account and not make any election in order to receive the dividend in US$?
