Q: Hello, after 2/3 weeks of trading, Lumine shares flirted with a low of $14 and now appears have bounced back above $15.50. Trading volume also appears be declining now. ( Initial few days traded a few millions shares each day ). Do you think, selling by Index funds/ETF's is almost done ? if so, would you still wait to buy/add until shares trade down to $12.50 - $13.50 level or $14 could be the near term floor ? Thank You

Q: Hi, What % of TOI and LMN common shares are owned by CSU ( including any preferred or other class to be converted to common, in future ). Also, what % of market capitalization of CSU, the two companies make up, respectively, based on current values. I guess, what we are trying to assess is that, to what extent and why it makes sense to own TOI and LMN shares, while already having an overweight core ownership of Constellation Software. Thank You

Q: Iam McGugan's G&M article on factor based investing mentioned quality based stocks. Can you name a few in Canada and the US and how would you filter for these types of stocks in a search?

Much thanks

Q: Hi. My stock in a company has gone to zero. What documentation do I need to claim the capital loss, and how do I get that? I invest online with my bank. Nothing is available in with the usual tax documents.

Thanks

Q: Good afternoon, it's been some time since I rebalanced my portfolio, and I'm wondering if I could get an update on how you would weight the various sectors on the TSX at this point in time.
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter,

I do not believe in technical analysis, however, from a technical analysis perspective, what would be a great entry point in the next three to six months to purchase shares of SPY, QQQ and XIC? What is the likelihood of these great entry points happening in the next three to six months?

Thanks

Q: hi folks:

1) what is your opinion of the long term viability of this company?

2) do you have any other companies in mind that would be competitors (direct or indirect)

3) are you familiar with other well run electrical/ component/ grid/ transmission companies that are leading in the drive towards the inevitable electrification of the world?

thanks

Q: If one were to sell Magna but still wanted to stay in the industrial sector would you endorse moving into CPR at this time (allowing for giving up some dividend income)? CPR share price has gone pretty parabolic in the last 5 years or so relative to their long term history, do you think the valuation has gotten ahead of itself?

In spite of its smaller size I was interested in ATS but after the unexplained drop last week on higher volume I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. I don’t mean to editorialize but I can’t count the number of times in recent years when unexplained drops suddenly become clear in the days and weeks that follow. It’s just a personal opinion but I really feel ethics aren’t what they once were, and whether it is an insider, a printer, or someone else “in the know”, it seems information gets leaked and unlike years ago there is now a variety of means (like social media) for that info to spread quickly and widely. End of rant.

Thanks!
