Q: Hi Ryan,

Just read a recap of your appearance on BNN today. How come you do not own any of your past or current top picks?

Q: Can you recommend a safer play in the Health Care space than tCOV and GUD? I'm invested in two health care ETFs (CSH and NWH) but I'm holding these for the dividends rather than growth.
Are there ETFs you think look promising that focus on the Health Care space? I have about one full position to add to the Health Care industry.
Thanks!

Q: Hello 5i Research team,
Would you say the acquisition of Biotoscana reduces the probability of GUD acquiring ENDO in the short term? Would GUD buy all ENDO, or exclusively the equivalent of the former Paladin? What premium or what price would you expect GUD to pay for ENDO if buying the whole company? What would be signs ENDO would be ripe to be saved?
Do you think the acquisition of Biotoscana will shut down Medison for a while? At least until after the next annual meeting, so that a second proxy fight would be avoided in the short term?
Based on the evolution of its stock price since its IPO, Biotoscana seemed not that successful as a stand alone company. What GUD can do to help turn things around / improve operations with such a small GUD team?
Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: Hi 5i team,
These two stocks, which are in the Balance portfolio, had a lot of happenings in the past few days. GIL posted negative news while GUD posted positive news. Is it a good time to initiate a 4% position in one or both stocks ? Would it be prudent to add to these two stocks right now, or better to wait till the dust settles.
Thanks

Q: Would you update Knight;s share count following their buyback announced this summer? How many shares and floating shares are now outstanding?
Once they complete the purchase, do you think they will do a financing if they can get the share price back above ten dollars to finance possible future deals with their new company or possibly continue to pursue other deals.
Finally, how much cash will they be left with once they spend the $369M?
Thank you - very excited to see this deal!

Q: I have the above losing stocks in my rrsp. Do you see any that I should let go and replace with something else? Sgy and pd are particularly painful to look at! The ok stocks I have in it are bns, engh and pbh. A good few years before I start cashing in. Thank you.

Q: With the world feeling a little uneasy about a pending recession, I want to keep only holdings that will weather a downturn. I'm not trying to time the market, and want to hold stocks, that while they may dip, have good balance sheets, good management, and will likely see a recovery. Others I will sell and hold the cash. Above are my current holdings. Do you see any that may be susceptible to excessive weakness in a recession and would therefore meet my sell criterion? Thanks,
Kim

Q: Is the recent marginal and probably temporary rise in Knight's share price due to the surprise revelation that the Company had purchased over 4.5 million shares under the 12.5 million repurchase program within about a month from the start date? It's a bit ironic that Medison's meddling has caused the share price to flatline which helped Knight by allowing them to buy cheap stock! Go Meir...
