Q: Reliq states that they will be cash flow positive by the end of the year. However, I have concerns about their burn rate. One estimate is that they will use up their cash within about 2 months. Do you agree and what would you expect them to do -- borrow/stock issue, etc.?

Q: Hi 5i: Can you give me an update on Sernova?
Q: Have you looked at Liberty Defense Holdings (SCAN)? It is only $30mln market cap and beta testing an interesting security technology. While highly speculative I would assume, is it worth deploying some "speculative" money to?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Dear 5i,
I am interested in speculating on this company with $1,000 to $2,000 which I am prepared to lose. Should I purchase this in my TFSA or NonReg account so I can use the tax loss if necessary? Can you explain your rationale for choosing one account over the other. I purchased Prometics awhile back and it did not turn out well. Would you say "ATE" has the same risk level as PLI?
thanks

Q: Thoughts on this company please. Apparently, they use PyroGenesis' technology to produce silicon. CEO claims that this quarter they will be producing silicon wafers for the battery industry. Apparently switching from graphite to silicon in batteries is the 'Holy Grail' as it increases capacity by 10x.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: I bought 1000 SQP and found it has profit and dividend.May I buy more?

Q: What are your thoughts on this company as a long-term speculation?
Q: So new good CEO at DHX changing its name to WildBrain. Do you think they can get back on track? Never sold my shares huge loss but I have faith in new seasoned ceo to turn things around. And what about this buy out offer a few months ago? Is that off the table? Your thoughts?
Q: Puzzled by the relationship between declining price for SIM and its apparent market successes. It is as though their product is not proving out??
Q: I am tempted to buy this stock based on a Buy Recommendation from TD Securities and a price target of $3.50. Also note that there has been considerable insider buying of the stock recently. Would appreciate your comments. Bill
Q: ITC announced a $500,000 sale a couple of days ago and the stock has responded quite positively, more than I would have expected. Is the sale significant? Could you provide views on the situation and how ITC might perform going forward.
Q: Can you please help me understand why Blackline is valued at 2.5 times QST when QST seems to have way better metrics ( profit, gross margin)? While QST's revenue is not growing as fast, one can argue that QST only chooses to sell prodcutt aht it can sell/rent where there is a profit etc. QST's management is probably a least as good as BLN. Do you think there is a discount because the CEO of QST is a woman? Maybe it is just investor relations, lack of private placement of QST shares? Or fear of regulations or lack thereof hurting QST. Anyone who follows the climate change debate would see methane reduction as one of the the big news story of the past year.
Q: WEF is down right now with a good dividend. There's a strike going on with the company, the forest sector in BC is down plus the trade situation with the US and China is still not good. The debt situation for WEF appears to be OK. Your thoughts on a longer term hold 2-3 years until we get out of this slump??
Q: TMD is down 1/3 today on the announcement to sell units, any idea what the impact of this will have going forward? Is this a market over/under reaction?
Q: Hi guys, am thinking of a small 1% buy in MDR and would appreciate your analysis of them. Has had huge volume lately and is on a steep slope downwards. Do you see any potential in these guys in the near term as they approach their next report in late October.
Thx Gary

Q: Asked your opinion on this stock in June for my TFSA which you replied that it was very speculative but something to watch. Have not purchased it yet.
There are a lot of moving parts to the company and its stock with mergers and share consolidation several weeks ago.
I have 2 questions:: How has the stock behaved since mergers / consolidation.? ( I find it very difficult to determine). Has your opinion on this company changed? Thanks
Derek

Q: What are your thoughts about iAnthus? It had a good run when the whole cannabis sector was doing well and has pulled back since April, 2018. Might be a good time to get back in.
