Q: If the results are in-line with expectations, why is it down almost 10%? Has it something to do with their write-down of 19th Capital? If so, given EFN still has $50 million equity in 19th Capital, are further write-downs likely? Thanks.

Q: were knights earnings that bad or are they even relevant, but this stock is just getting hammered day after day. also what is the amount of cash on the balance sheet, i think it is about 6 dollars a share, just confirm please. dave

Q: I've recently changed jobs and now have access to funds that were previously tied up in a group RRSP. I would like to start building the balanced equity portfolio, and at this point in time believe I have enough cash to buy about half of the portfolio now, with the intention of rounding it out in the new year.

Which 10 or so stocks from the balanced equity portfolio would you recommend starting with at this point in time? I'm in my late 20s so therefore have a long investment horizon.

There seems to be not much information or coverage of PEO. Can you give some details of the company. It seems to be performing well and you have it in the growth portfolio. What are your thoughts about initiating a position at these levels. Are stocks listed in the venture exchange inherently more risky than those listed in the TSX? Thanks.
