Q: Hello Peter. I attended yesterday's webinar and must say that I found it to be of assistance. I do, however, have a question regarding when to sell a stock. In your presentation, you said that one of the biggest mistakes is to take too long to sell a loser. You also said the "Doing nothing is almost always better than reacting". These statements are a little contrary to one another. For instance, I purchased The Stars Group when you recommended it a number of months ago and all it has done since then is go down. How do I reconcile selling or holding in this case. Your thought process would help me a lot. What are the key factors to think about in my decision to hold or sell in this case and in general?

Thanks Peter.

Q: This is ugly. I asked you on several times about selling my Financials in both Canada and US (was up 40% on average)) you advised against this? (In hindsight your advise wasquestionable - Question I have now is should I sell some higher risk stocks in different sectors and load up even more on Canadian +American banks . I know you cannot be right all the time but this turned out to be a major miss for me. I still cautiously valve your opinion. Thanks

..I think this could be a disruptor...Thanks again. Great Webinar as usual.

Q: Hi, you had a comment on AT&T late July and I was wondering, with recent weakness, what the fundamentals look like for this company now. Do you see long term value here? If you think this is a stock with limited prospects going forward, do you have another US income stock (any sector) that might make for a better replacement? Many thanks. Michael

Q: I bought PATK not very long ago because I like the mgmt, they have a good history of compounding capital, and they have made some nice acquisitions, Also good fundamentals. However my timing was pretty bad and its dropped 25% since then due to trade war concerns, US economy concerns and the motorhome/rv sector getting beaten up since people don't buy recreational vehicles if the economy struggles. I planned on holding through at least this quarter to see if good earnings could set it above the sector headwinds. It reported great earnings and beat on many metrics, popped 6% this morning, now oddly is down 3%. That concerns me. Should I get out of PATK, do you think the head winds will be too much for this sector? So far its looking like no matter how positive things are with the company, the sector will just beat PATK down with the rest of the RV stocks.

Q: LLG along with NMX and ECS have been dropping like a rock for the last few months. What is you take on these mining stocks? My understanding is that lithium ion batteries require graphite, lithium and cobalt. Demand should be increasing, put prices for the commodities seem to be weak. Any insights would be appreciated.

Q: After a correction like we’ve seen the last week, where do you see as the best place to put money? I didn’t sell anything during the pullback. I have a long time to wait, and am ok with risk. Would you recommend long term value stocks (such as dividend aristocrats, banks, utilities etc.) or more fluctuating stocks (such as tech, pot, faang etc)? Where do you see the better bounce back? I use all available drips.
