Q: I keep this company and think of it as keeping cash around. Mr. Goodman and I made a lot of money on Paladin and I mean a lot but if he has plans for Knight I sure have not figured them out. Would you have anything to add? I think most investors are tired of waiting or have already moved on. Appreciate your thought. THANKS

Q: hello 5i team
i just read one of the articles you recommended to us stating that the consensus amongst money managers is that European stocks will do better than US stocks in the coming years. they give various reasons for this view. i was wondering what your thoughts were on this thesis. i am a little light on foreign equities but have been a bit hesitant to add any. But now i am rethinking this. if you see this as more or less an accurate perception of the investing reality today would you think that the etf’s mentionned would provide the coverage needed?
as always thanks for your expertise

Q: Hi Peter
Read your article in the NP on the week. Following your comment on selling some of your winners, would you consider RPI be one of them. Own for many years and had to reduce my holding in my TSFA. Still over 5% of my portfolio with a profit of over 460%.

Q: Would you be able to explain the pop in SAFM today?
Tyson Foods has been mentioned as a possible acquirer. They reported good results today. Could this affect a possible acquisition or did SAFM just increase with expectation of a similar good qtr? SAFM reports in mid December.
Thanks for your great insights.

Q: Hey there,
All of these etfs pay good dividends for a retiree. Can you compare/contrast the risks associated with each and in particular, and is there any compelling reason to switch to VRIF?
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,
In their latest quarter results, they did beat the estimates. Remdesivir is still a one of the most used drug treatment. My opinion is that it will still be continued to be used for treatment till a better one is found.
Not sure why market is not so excited about the results and future prospects. Can you clarify.
Thanks for your sound advise.

Q: I hold Costco in my TFSA and with the news of a special dividend I am debating on selling ahead and rebuying after to avoid losing 15% withholding tax as I am assuming a special dividend is subject to the same 15% withholding treatment. Thanks
Q: Hi 5i team,
The market is seeing a rotation from tech into more value with Dow Jones going up and NASDQ dropping. To capture this sector rotation, which Canadian traded ETFs would you recommend for US companies? Would it be Dow Jones focused ETFs or value focused ETFs that will see the most gain in the next 12 months?
Please list your top picks for each. Thanks.
