Q: According to CNN, "Currently, gamblers can deduct their losses before paying taxes on their winnings. Under Trump’s bill, though, they’ll be able to deduct just 90% of their losses. For example: Win $100,000, but lose $80,000? You’ll have made $20,000 but owe taxes on $28,000. “This new amendment to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act would end professional gambling in the US and hurt casual gamblers, too,” professional poker player Phil Galfond said on X. “You could pay more in tax than you won.”
An easy question for you, as it's more or less just speculation, but how could you see this affecting these two stocks? Thank you!

Q: Are there US stocks that fall under the buying opportunity for 3-5 years compared to a Long term hold ( > 5 years ). Or vice versa.

Can you please suggest 5 for each? Do you prefer US or CND equities these days, and why?

Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team
Let me start by thanking you all for you valuable insights into markets and stock valuations through the years. My question is regarding a tfsa portfolio. I am considering reducing amount of stocks to 20. Which 6 stocks would you let go in order of first to sell to last. Secondly, could you give me a brief opinion/ comment on my present holdings in a tfsa and if there's value in keeping status quo.
Thanks as always
Gilles

Q: Do any of these companies fwd P/E's or P/S's concern you at all vs their expected growth rates?

They range from 50x to 127x. I'm looking to increase positions in NBIS/SRAD/GENI so I'm thinking of trimming some of these higher valuation names to add to these lower position names. However, I don't want to trim these long term compounders if they still have legs, but at such high valuations, when does it make sense to trim a name like CRWD to add to NBIS currently? I understand that great companies generally have higher valuations for a reason and investors have to pay up for great long term compounders. Thank you!

Q: Do you see the above as a buy today? If so in what order and at what price? Would these stocks be suitable for a 10 year hold?
Thanks again for doing the heavy lifting for us.

Q: Hi 5i Team - I have small positions in the following three gaming sector companies: Genius Sports, Sportradar, Flutter Entertainment. Am wondering if I need to have all three of these companies and if I should consolidate into two of them. If so, which two of the three would you keep. Is there a significant difference between the three - maybe consolidation is not necessary.
As an afterthought, is Fan Duel likely to become publicly traded.
Thanks.

Q: Good morning. I bought these 2 last year around July or August in an unregistered 12 stock US account.
AGX is a triple, 9.8% of the portfolio ,CRS a double, 8.1% of the portfolio.
What do you see for them going forward? Do I trim? If so do add to NBIS , CLBT or SRAD. Thank you David

Q: How would you rate these for holding in the SMID Growth section of a portfolio (A couple may not be SMID, which means they just may not be forever keepers for me) - I hold all except SNPS and NOW, which I've been watching, and I’m thinking of consolidating into 6-8 positions, but could keep more. I'm considering 3-4 for shorter-term growth, 1-3 years, 3-4 for longer-term growth, 5-10 years. Please order from most conviction to least with a preference to Shorter (S) or longer(L) or either (E). Thanks!
SNPS, NOW, GLXY, KSI, FOUR, ROAD, CLBT, CRM, HPS.A, VHI, GENI, SRAD

Q: Hi Peter,
How would the tariffs, and dampening of corporate and consumers’ spending affects the revenue growth of V, SRAD and ASML? Both V and SRAD are near their 12 months high. What would be a good entry price for these 3 stocks? Thanks.

Q: Thoughts on GAMB after earnings? Can you comment on why earnings seemed good but it dropped? The Donville group seem to love it and they are right almost as often as you guys so I'd love to have your take on whether you would buy at these levels and what you might see as it's 3 year return? Is there overlap with GENI or SRAD and is it a takeover candidate?

Thanks

Q: Given 5i's recent postive commentary on SRAD, I've begun to look at taking a half position. One of the compelling reasons to do so is 5i's reference to CPP holding the stock. However, when I dug a bit further, it would appear CPP's investment is in a holding called Sun Light Resources Development Limited (SRAD) which focuses on fossil fuels. That said, I couldn't find this company listed on any exchange. Long story short, can you verify if CPP does indeed invest in Sports Radar? In addition, I noted SRAD's stock price shot up in November and continues to rise. Can you please explain this positive momentum? Thank you.
