Q: Hi 5i,
With electrification of Industry etc. and the build out of data centres, would you consider this to be an okay time to invest in Copper given the recent run-up? Or wait for consolidation?
If so, what would be the best way (which stocks, etf's etc.) to invest?

Q: Excellent “ The AI Compute Stack and the Stocks That Power It” report.

If you have to choose an AI ETF that would cover the stocks on the report. Which CDN and USA ETF would you recommend to hold.

I currently hold 3% each COPX, CYBR, NUKZ, CHPS & QQC ETF

Q: Thank you for excellent AI Report - so helpful. In addition to ETFs listed, there are 2 others for which symbol did not pop up - ROXT State Street Kensho Final frontiers and CNRG - State Street Clean Power. We are interested in all these names as they pertain to AI Power and Infrastructure. The underlying holdings are interesting but valuations uncertain. Would appreciate your assessment and which ones would be advisable to start a position - DCA.

Q: Copper has shown a remarkable run, over past 6-9 months and Technical analysts like the move, and believe. it has lot more room to go, after almost a 10 year consolidation.

We took an exposure to Copper, through Hudbay Minerals, with an initial 1% position, during the pull back earlier this week.

What are your thoughts on the commodity/miners and what would be a reasonable weighting in a portfolio similar to 5i Balanced ?

Dou you like HBM ? Or, you would prefer to have Copper exposure through COPX, or any Large/Mid Cap Canadian names and why ?

Q: Where would you put money in copper for a 5 ​year or more hold.
Please recommend stocks from a conservative and​ from a moderately aggressive perspective. Please do the same using ETFs.
Can you buy ​into the metal easily itself and ​do you think it is a good idea? If yes, how would you do it?
Subtract credits as you see fit.

Q: It appears as if there could be a supply shortfall in copper in 2026 and with critical minerals being in demand do you see XETM as a way to invest in both copper and critical minerals. On the other hand is there stocks that would be a better copper play and other stocks that would be better in the critical mineral area than XETM.

Q: Question on increasing my copper exposure:

I already own some TECK.B, but concerned about the (approx.) 26X PE ratio. Does this concern you?

I'm considering COPX. Yes, comparing an ETF to a stock is a bit apples / oranges. If I believe that International stocks in general will outperform going forward, is this a good choice. I do realize it does have some North American holdings - including TECK.B itself - but the aggregate PE appears to be better value compared just TECK.B.

Perhaps selling TECK.B and just holding all of COPX is a better choice despite the (I think) 0.65 MER. Your thoughts and comments on all this ?

Q: COPP.TO (Global X Canada) COPP (Sprott ETF in USA) COPX (Horizon Global X USA) - Do you have any preference for a Canadian resident who wants to invest in a diversified copper ETF? Do you have an alternative suggestion to these ones? Both the COPP (Sprott US) and COPX (Horizon US) are treated as US situ property with respect to Estate taxes.
