Q: Your take on FSV's quarterly results? I've been considering increasing my holdings in this company (2.5% now) because it's been far less volatile than the market of late, a steady grower. But I'm worried it's expensive already. On that subject, I keep hearing these guys on BNN talking about this or that stock, like Enbridge, like Parkland Fuels, Constellation Software and Methanex as being too pricey, above their normal P/E ratio, and due for a pullback, and they advise not to buy. PE doesn't seem to bother you much. It seems to be your position that if a company is good you don't really care if the stock is over-priced because even if it falls 10%-20% it will recover that in a year or two and then surpass the current price. Do I have that right?

Q: Hello,

1) As an investor, is there any benefit to holding BRK.A vs BRK.B
2) Would holding BRK.B provide diversification? I assume BRK.B owns underlying stock such American Express, Coke, Wells Fargo etc ?
3) What is the advantage or disadvantage of holding BRK.B vs a S&P 500 ETF?

Q: I have about 20% of my investments in an rrsp in the following mutual funds: Franklin bissett equity, Franklin bissett microcap and Franklin global growth. It had done well in the past however not so impressive lately. Can you please give me your opinion on these funds and perhaps offer an alternative fund. Good for 8+ years. I do not wish to put into individual shares. Thank you for your opinion.

Q: Hello 5i, This is about re balancing my non registered portfolio by region. I currently have a my portfolio at 20% fixed income and 10% balanced. Now for my growth portion, what mixture would you be balancing your portfolio. US, European, Emerging markets and Canadian. It seems that over the next couple years the growth will be from the US and Emerging markets but would like your assessment for the regions and then what sectors. Thanks
