In the past you did like FVI Funtuna Silver, do you still like it, or would you prefer WPM

Q: On august 17 in answer to an ALA question, you said that a regulatory agency (?) had recommended AGAINST approval of the US acquisition. I have head nothing about this anywhere else. Can you please elaborate, tell us how important this may be for ultimate approval, and provide a link to this? I was quite surprised to hear this, given the Q2 conference call said progress on the acquisition was ahead of schedule and they expected final approval by the end of Q2.

Q: If I wanted to buy some Amazon stock, in which account should I purchase it ?

Q: I would appreciate your analysis of their Q1 results that were released late yesterday. It looks like a revenue beat of $14.2 million vs estimates of $13.6 million. Onward and upward? Many thanks.

Q: I look forward to your investment updates emails, enjoy reading them and find them useful. However, I find the timing and frequency of them rather unpredictable. Is there a rough guideline as to when or how often you try to get them out? Is timing mainly driven by when you have made decisions to proceed or not with model portfolio updates?

Q: the question I keep asking my self is why do I buy recommendations. These three are your picks so bought but all have declined since purchase. I have no problem with volatility but what is the percentage decline that yo u should expect on these kind of stocks, down 12,10, and 15%. My limit is usually 18-20. so should I wait for my target or move on.

Q: As a new member of 5i Research, I first want to thank you for the service you provide. Fantastic.

I am reviewing the Canadian portion of my RRSP, sector by sector. I have a balanced approach and 15+ years ahead of me before transferring to a RRIF.

I find myself a bit underweight and concentrated in Healthcare, owing only NHW.UN (4% of Canadian portfolio). I was thinking of switching half into CSH.UN for diversification within the Real Estate/Healthcare space, then add a 3% position in GUD for more growth. What are your thoughts?

Note: The US portion of my RRSP, which is half the size of my Canadian portfolio, is invested in Mutual funds with Healthcare/Big Pharma representing about 16% of my US holdings. So my strategy would bring Healthcare to 10% overall in my RRSP.
