Q: I am looking at expanding my holdings of small

cap higher paying dividend stocks which currently

consist of EIF, AD.UN,and SPB.

Please provide 3 additional names ( 5% plus

yield ) which would

be of interest. A comment on each company’s

strengths/weaknesses would be appreciated.

Q: Peter,

I look at the S & P 500 index as the gold standard for performance measurement. It has been my theory that any portfolio performance should be compared to this index first. Do you agree?

For diversification purposes please list your top 5 indexes & associated ETF codes that you feel would be relevant whenever looking at an equity portfolio. This can be anywhere in the world. { Fixed Income I strictly take a ladder approach.} I would be interested in ones with a lower correlation , if that is realistic. It may not be.

I am looking for income and found these two. I am up with BAC and PRMW and would sell these and buy ICHR and IEP. I know there is no comparison but would be fine with the change for income. I am 76 with a good pension and a balanced portfolio value investor in all sectors. I also have covered call ETF's ZWC, ZWE, ZWH, ZWT, HDIV AND HYLD. The other forty-two stocks are blue chip equities in all 11 sectors with ten ETF's doing well with ZAG to balance it all. I am not using the principal and reinvesting excess dividends and using some for travel. Is there a downside to selling BAC and PRMW and buying ICHR and IEP or is that too excessive with the covered call ETF's now in play? Please take as many credits as needed.

Amongst other pricey cybersecurity companies, CHKP seems very reasonably valued. It it 'cheap for a reason', or is it a solid stock to pick up now?

While interested in making a little extra money , I have also wanted to keep my life simple, so I have concentrated on selling covered call options and puts. Because of the crazy recent markets, though, i have been looking at other strategies. For instance the bull put strategy looks interesting. Wondering whether you think it is worth while for an average investor to put much into these other strategies

Q: My daughter has a Family RESP Account for our 2 grandaughters.
They are soon to be 16 and 13 years young.
Both, at this stage of the education game, appear to be headed to college or university.. I contribute monthly into the RESP plan for my grandchildren.
The original funds were invested in a Target 2025 mutual fund RBF1048, recently rename to RBF5731. This is showing an inception return of 4.4%. Since 2016 I have been investing this thru my Direct Investing Account. My present portfolio mix is about 98% equity Stock and is showing a return of 28%, since inception.
Finally to my question. Since the oldest Granddaughter will be attending post secondary education in the next 2 years and little.
What is your suggestion on how to split the total amount? Should I start investing more in fixed income?
Any other suggestions you have for a situation like this?

Q: Yesterday would have been Benjamin Graham's 128th birthday. Born in London on May 9, 1894, Graham founded the disciplines of security analysis and value investing, was Warren Buffett's mentor and wrote the classic book after which this newsletter is named.

Graham knew hardship. His father died when Ben was only eight years old, and the family business -- importing porcelain and decorative objects -- fell apart. His mother's brokerage account was wiped out in the Panic of 1907. Graham never forgot being sent to the bank as a boy and hearing the teller ask whether his mother was "good for five dollars."

Then, in and after the Crash of 1929, Graham's investment partnerships were almost wiped out. He went on to build one of the greatest investing track records of the 20th century, but he never forgot the lessons of loss:

With the current dip and a further downside expected are there any income equities that you would classify as very attractive.

Looking for some new ideas. I have lots of banks, pipes, telcos, utilities, insurance cos, etc. but am not immune to buying more.
