Q: Hi, does TD Direct trading Canada offer U.S. high interest savings accounts in addition to their Canadian offerings (eg. TD 8150, 8155). If so, what are the symbols. Thanks.
Q: How do I know if this stock is priced cheap, fair or expensive. For a general quick idea what metric should I use for this and other similiar stocks so I don't have to ask 5I every time I look at a stock.
Q: I have 4 stocks doing very well in my TFSA, MSFT, BRK.B, VI and APPL. Recently I noted that COSTCO is doing very well and I am considering adding it to my TFSA but am out of space. 1) do you think that adding Costco to my TFSA is a good idea and 2) if so which of the my current stocks above should I replace?
Many thanks. Jane
Q: Hi folks,
I am looking to add one more healthcare name to my TFSA. I am thinking of adding either ISRG or LLY. May I have your opinion as to which one you think is best today.
Thanks
Q: Hi 5i
April 23, 2021 I asked the question...
...What would be your allocation % to the 11 sectors?
Your answer was...
....As a GENERAL guideline, considering current market factors and outlook, and leaning towards some growth: real estate 5%; financials 10%; industrials 15%; cons. disc. 15%; cons.staples 5%; utilities 5%; energy 5%; communications 5%; materials 10%; info/tech 20%; health 5%....
Would you revise this % allocation to the 11 sectors today?
Thanks
Q: I have shares in Nvei that I would love to sell - bought at $77. Would you recommend waiting to see if the deal goes through, and if so what happens to the stock? Or in case the deal collapses, what target price might I look for before I sell? Thank you.
Q: Follow up on Bitcoin as an asset.
The price to mine a bitcoin has decreased over the years from about 37,000 dollars to 17,000 dollars. The total number of bitcoins to be mined is supposed to be restricted to a finite number which may be reached this year or next year.
Still the bitcoin value reaches rather extraorbitant values despite not having any asset to back up the value. It apparently may hide a bitcoin owner unless he or she declares its ownership . The legalized ETFs may be more open as to the ownership I presume.
Do you have any comments about the above issues?
I think 50% or more people who invest in bitcoin do not have idea that is a bitcoin.
Q: There is an old adage about when to buy and sell. It was somthing like"Don't buy before 10AM and don't sell after 3PM" or maybe vice versa or something si,ilar. Do you remeber the adage and has it been totally debunked by now? Thanks have a good weekend
Q: Analysts, are they are all good, they sure can swing a stock price. I remember a couple of years ago when one of them downgraded a Berkshire owned stock, and Mr. Buffet said the earnings were just fine and the analyst got it wrong. Why do they always have to be right?
Thanks Again
Q: Good morning
What is the difference between these two and which is more tax efficient in a non registered account? Are the dividends basically as safe in either ?
Thanks
