Q: With recent news that Germany's largest lender, Deutsche Bank, is in serious trouble,
is this a bad time to be taking a 5% position in DRG.UN?

Q: This week EcoSynthetix got its first commercial client for its Durabind adhesive and its share price increased accordingly. Have you any feel for where the share price might go as EcoSynthetix adds more customers, i.e.; do you think the present share price represents a top until the market sees how the new business is affecting the bottom line? Is this a good time to be adding more shares?
Q: Income Financial Trust pays a 12 per cent on its basket of financial holdings, and its share price is currently some 27 per cent over NAV. My question: its 2015 tax form indicates that almost all of its payout consists of return of capital. Does that mean that investors in INC.UN are just repaid their own money, and NAV will get reduced significantly over time?
Q: what would be the downside risk of companies like NYX, PBH, SIS

Q: I have no exposure to the oil and gas sector. I am thinking of going 3% to 5% and would like your opinion on whether now is a reasonable time to re-enter this market. If so, would looking at the U.S. market be better than the Canadian Mkt. Any suggested companies or ETF's would be appreciated.
Cheers, Bob

Q: 5i
Want to add to my RRIF as I do have cash in the account. RRIF is composed of Financials-45%,Energy 22% and Healthcare 22%. Industrial 7% and Telecommunications 7%. Of the 2 stocks, Bip and Bep which would be the better choice or do you have any other recommendation. I do like the payout on both bip and bep

Q: Peter; It looks to me that the vaunted LNG projects in BC are not going ahead in the next 5-10'years. Are their specific gas companies that will be affected if this happens? Thanks,

Q: Hi 5i. I recently sold the last mutual fund held in a RRSP. It was AI Clarington Canadian Dividend fund (series X), which has had reasonable (?) performance over several years, but the MER of 2.75% was excessive versus the gains in my opinion.
I am looking to find a couple of ETF's that could replicate the fund. It held roughly 80% Cdn companies, 18% USA, and 1% South America.
As always, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks T.

Q: According to Yahoo Finance the payout ratio for ABT [Absolute Software Corporation] is 102.3%.
Is that correct?
Why would this company have a payout ratio over 100%?
Thanks.
