Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Do you think Blink looks interesting at these levels for a long term hold? Anything to do with the EV industry has been beaten up but sales are going to inevitably increase. Are you aware which business currently has a stranglehold on the home EV charging ports?
Thanks

Q: I’ve been holding qualacom at a loss for 2 years or so and am now considering moving on after the earnings release tonight as I don’t want to ride it back to the lows. Is there a stock that is down after today’s big drop that you would suggest on a trade? I was considering either sedg or PAyc. Thank you!

Q: I recently read on article on the importance of decarbonization many years into the future.

Can you provide some companies you would currently recommend in order to profit from this secular growth theme.

Canadian or US company ideas please. Looking for companies to hold in an RRSP for many many years.

Thanks very much

Q: Hi! Doing some cleaning up and wondering if these are buy, sell, or hold. In reference to Shane's comments I also agree that it wasn't too long ago that so many advisors were recommending growth stocks at lofty prices. Having always been a more of a value investor I dipped my toes, but am feeling like I'd be too scared to ever enter any kind of a growth stock again. I know if interest rates peak you feel these can do well again but only time will tell and many investors have lost lots of money on the high growth names like in Cathy Wood's funds. Happy to hold any of these names if there could ever be a turn around. Thank you!

Q: SEDG is down a lot. ENPH is holding up. Could you provide your thoughts on what's happened here and briefly compare with your preference, all things considered.

ENPH seems to be the leader in the space. Do feel it will continue to outperform or that SEDG could catch up? Leader vs laggard?

thanks, M

Q: What is the best way to play energy decarbonization over the next decade? Hydrostor looks very interesting to me but is not public. Is there perhaps an indirect way to get involved?

Q: Electrification Theme: My question is about the "picks and shovels" in the electrical equipment market to support EVs, modern energy grids, storage and distributed power. What stocks would you recommend with a short rationale and, if possible, entry price.
Thank you
