Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I would like to get exposure to the semiconductor industry but am reluctant to buy NVDA because of its recent runup. I am considering SMH or SOXX. Do you have a better idea or would it be wise to stay on the sidelines for a while? This may not be relevant but I do hold Fortinet. Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Thank You.

Q: Recently ran into some $. Much to my surprise. Was thinking about putting it into IEP. Leaving it and not looking at it for 10 years. Is this a binary bet on high risk/high reward opportunity. How would the dividend be taxed in a non registered account? Over time I may look to move it to TFSA if it bolds well. Thoughts?

Q: Unfortunately I am down over 50% on all these stocks (held in my TFSA). I am “cleaning house”.
Please give your opinion as to whether any have the potential to recover and are worth holding for a bit longer.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks

Q: Can't say that I'm an "experienced" investor in stocks but I have been dabbling for a number of years now. It feels, and I know that's not proof, but it feel like the markets over time trade more on sentiment than fundamentals now than what they did in the past. I'm thinking the computer trading algorythms are reacting more to sentiment then the real experienced investors do. And now we will have an enhanced AI Computer Trading platform - do you have any worries of the market setting realistic stock prices (let alone our jobs) with the rise of AI everything?
