Q: I am concerned regarding Mr Vounassis background at Bombardier. Given that Bombardier has been the worst performing stock in history and an ultimate example of corporate welfare, it is not a good name to have on a resume.
Also, sometimes applying methodology from large corporations to smaller companies does not work so well.
I hold some XBC and will continue holding but I have concerns.

Thanks for your great service

Q: Hi, I'm wondering if you might be able to offer me any insight into Goldman Sachs Business Development Corp Inc (GSBD:US)? When I look it up on TMX.COM there is an indication that it is trading at a price earnings multiple of only 3.6, that it has earnings of $5.43 per share (which I assume is for the past year), it pays a quarterly dividend of $0.45 and is currently in the midst of paying several additional special dividends of $0.05 per share and that its current yield is over 9%. With those earnings per share the dividend looks to me to be highly sustainable. I'm wondering why it might be trading at such a low P/E multiple? Is there something highly risky about the source of the firm's earnings or some other aspect of its business? Thank you!

Q: Your last comments on Cannabix Technologies was October 2019. I am trying to decipher their latest company news. Sometimes the company news site is more confusing than the hype on the bullboards. Are they truly in a third phase of testing? What do your sources say. If I owned some, would you call it a hold or a lottery ticket? Thx

Q: On May 17th, your response was "EIF and FSZ as well, though those may be considered 'just' income with perhaps less capital gains potential." With that comment, I thought I might realize the gain on EIF, like 30%....and then redeploy it elsewhere.I say this as the chart shows EIF runs up and then pulls back...and at the moment, it might be topping. Within my income portfolio, EIF weighting is OK. Without considering the income tax implications, am I wise to do it, trim the gain, or as EIF would be a long-term hold with a dividend nearly 6% and expecting to hold until the fundamentals change, just do nothing?......Appreciate your insight on this.....Tom

Q: Hello, and thank you, to all of the 5i Team for the insightful investment advice!
I will be selling some Pembina Pipeline shares within a year’s time frame. Do you see any short term upside for the PPL share price, or will they most likely encounter some resistance at the $40 level, and stay range bound without some major mover? Thanks in advance!

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! I hold AT & T shares and have done so for a while. I am underwater in this holding and considering the upcoming deal, would you recommend still keeping the stock? There is a strong suggestion that the dividend will be cut. My alternative thought would be to sell out and invest in the QQQ for a long term hold. Your insight would be welcome! Cheers, Tamara

Q: Hello, I bought shares of AT&T eight years ago. I am still holding the stock because of the dividends. What does the deal with Discovery concretely mean for the average investors? Will AT&T change name? Will I get shares of Discovery? Should I sell my AT&T shares or just keep them and wait? I just do not know what to do now. Thank you
