Q: Hello 5i Team,

I'm creating TFSAs for my two children, and I would like to purchase a basket of 15-20 Canadian stocks and CIBC CDRs, since their accounts are commission-free.

Could you please recommend some names for me to consider with a focus on growth while maintaining some sector diversity.

Would you recommend adding a global ETF for geographical diversity? If so, what?

Feel free to subtract as many credits as you see fit.

Q: Majority control of the Co.is by Shaw family. Do you have % share of this ownership and its board membership? Other than family ownership, are there any major share holders to influence the future of the Co.? I am assuming high Dividend is not sustainable but the majority owner do not want to change it either. So what can change this Company?

Q: Do you consider either railway a good new investment right now? I used your interactive chart to compare the two, and if you bought CNR 10 years ago you are probably pretty happy, but over the last 5 years CP outperformed, and ytd CP has ground up a bit while CN has drifted down. In the current interest rate environment I don’t think anyone is buying either for the dividend? Is there an investment thesis here somewhere or are there just plain better ideas? Q: Hi Team,
I currently hold a position in TTD in which today I am up a total of 204% on the position. I was debating trimming some of this TTD and adding to my LMN position within my tfsa. Would this be an advisable move? The weightings on each holding are of similar size. I am aiming to hold both long term (10yrs plus). Which do you see as having the most potential in this time frame? Q: Dear 5i team.

The news is filled with headlines of strikes, and fairly hefty increases in Salary, both sides of the border. At what point is wage inflation going to be an issue for the Fed and BOC? What is your view on the wage inflation train leaving the station, and possible impact 6 months from now?

Q: On a discounted cash flow basis, the intrinsic or fair value of DOL is $74.52.  But the current price is $87.56. And this seems to me to  signal DOL is overvalued by $41.50  or 35.77%. My question is how much weight should be placed on this method of valuation? And what other metrics should I consider along with the discounted cash value valuation? For example, is this valuation a signal to trim to a base weight of 4%?  Curious me...and also a fan of DOL......Tom
