Q: Similarly to the question asked by David regarding your Income portfolio, for B-E portfolio, what would be your top 10 stocks in the order you would buy. Based on anticipated total return (dividends + stock price increase) for the next five years expectations. I would also appreciate if you could add to these stocks your return expectations and risk ratios on the scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being highest. Thanks.
Q: Greetings 5i,
We are possibly entering a period of change in the direction of interest rates. Canada and the US could be heading in different interest rate directions. Up for debate I suppose.
Could 5i provide a quick refresher on sectors and possibly companies that do well with rising interest rates and those that do poorly. A broad explanation would be appreciated as well as your thoughts on the direction of rates today.
Cheers!

Q: I recently asked a question stating that i need to increase my holdings in basic materials and the utilities sectors. You were kind enough to offer some choices. I did mention there that I wanted to avoid dividends. But that is difficult for these sectors. I didn’t mention, however, that as well as sectors I need to also bring up my U.S. and outside North America holdings a bit. And I thought this might be a good way to accomplish that. So, May I add to the question by asking for possibilities in these regions?
Thanks for this great service

Q: I was wondering why you keep those 2 companies in your equity model portfolio. They have been at approximately the same value for the last few years.
Q: Can I get your thoughts on earnings today. Also would you buy after todays results and where would you rate the bank in the big six
Q: Follow-up comment re: usefulness of customer data in training AI agents, you say.... "The key of course is adapting quickly before customers even start to consider their own solutions." I do not share this view that customers with time can complete with LMN.
My point is the detailed data on vast numbers of customers within a vertical can not be replicated, and is the CSU/LMN/TOI superpower...to train AI agents specific to their customers needs. Customers could have all the human intelligence and time, but without the vast data to train the AI agent the result will be inferior.
Your reply implies a customer and LMN have equal capabilities to develop AI agents, my thesis is they are not.
All of this to ask 5i confirmation that your view is existing CSU data sets to train AI agents is not an 'essential' ingredient....and customers can 'equally' develop effective AI solutions for their business.

Q: Not a question but an observation. Interesting times with the smaller Canadian banks and other financial firms. Stephen Smith selling First National and then his Fairstone buying LB. Then EQB ( which he has a position in ) getting involved with the Weston’s PC Financial. Then there is the Desmarais family and Wealthsimple.
Q: TD Webbroker is now offering stock lending from self directed investing accounts. They say the value of the loaned stocks are protected with funds equal to market value.
Any other risks or considerations?

Q: Hi 5i Guys
Further question on DPM.
There seems to be a complaint files with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) over DPM failure to disclose material information to its shareholders about serious legal threats related to an ongoing court-ordered suspension of its Loma Larga mining project in Southern Ecuador.
This seems rather serious for the company.
Do you consider this a material blocker to investing in DPM or rather just an legacy issue from a previous owner of the mine and DPM is OK to consider buying?
Thanks
Ken

Q: How would you know when CSU's price action has "settled" and that it is safe to add in? What indicators would you look for?
Price today is $3321.04. Morningstar gives CSU a fair value of $3,744.01. And it is a rare event in its history that CSU's price falls below its fair value.
Would you add to it today?

Q: Hi Folks,
Tax loss selling - which of T or IBIT(US) would you sell. If I were to sell Telus, I would NOT buy it back and if I were to sell IBIT, I would buy it back in 30 days.
Thanks

Q: Can I get your current thoughts on BBD.b along with a final determination on whether you consider it a buy/hold/sell for a growth portfolio.
Q: From your Income Portfolio, what would be your top 10 stocks in the order you would buy. This should be based best performance (income and market value increase) based on next five years expectations.
Q: Thank you for recommending GENI. Today it move up 12% plus. Is there any reason for high move and volume also higher.
Srad also move up 5%. Which one would you recommend that I add more.
Thanks for the great service.

First Majestic Silver Corp. (AG $22.25)
Q: Dear Peter et al:
This is a follow up question to Brian's on December 02, 2025 on "Junior Silvers". You seem to like several Silver miners! SVM of course you recently included in Growth portfolio. You seem to like DSV, DPM,VZLA,AG,PAAS.....so my simple question is AT THIS POINT IN TIME, what are the Silver stocks that you think have good momentum, growth prospects, low or no debt and will do well even if Silver prices don't shoot up to 75!. (60$ seems to a reasonable target?).
I have AG and PAAS that stems from your previous answer to my question.
Many thanks.

Q: Sir: I reviewing your recommended portfolios, I find that many of your A and B rated stocks have largely underperformed or lost money outright YTD, some by over 20%… is this a strange year or are you reconsidering your methodology going forward? Please consider this constructive and not critical of you service..
Q: What is 5i’s opinion on this company. I’m underwater. Should I unload. It seems to go nowhere, a bit like the Pittsburgh Steelers recently.
Thanks for your advice.
