Q: I am Canadian and I have considerable savings in a US money market account. With everything going on in the US right now, should I exchange those US$$ back to Canadian$$$? It appears that the US dollar is losing value against the Canadian dollar,

I’m trying to build a simple ETF portfolio with TSX & S&P500 exposure so that’s it’s easy to add during dips.
For the S&P500 i’m thinking XSP.
Not sure what to do about the TSX. Undecided on XIU, XEI or XDIV. I realize the composition of each is different. Energy, Financials, Utilities etc. What would you do?

RIF account that are about 1.2 % total. With this uncertain market and potential recession would you recommend to sell them for a more defensive stocks.Do they have good potential to recover? I am down on all of them .

I currently have less than a 2% holding accross all of my ports.

1) Why is performing so well, just so i fully understand.

2) Given its rise would you buy more at this point or, given the market, would you put a 'stink' bid in for it and let it sit?

Q: Dear 5i, If one were interested in investing in Japan using a TFSA for a long term hold. Which would you prefer between FLJP or EWJV ETF on the US exchange? FLJP has approx. 500 holdings and EWJV has a value tilt. with approx. 100 holdings. EWJV's 100 holdings are a subset of FLJP's holdings.

Q: This small mine on Northern Vancouver Island is humming along lately and I would appreciate your analysis with a buy sell or hold with reasons please?
