Q: First and foremost looks like the 5i team is working overtime to keep up with all the questions to ensure us members are not waiting long to get answers. Much appreciated! Compared to 2008 are the governments responding faster this time around and is the play book the same or different this time? Trying to see if all of these measures will have the same benefits as before?

Q: I have noticed in your renewal section you have a$ 179.95 annual membership. In previous years there was often a multiple year subscription price, normally two years.
As well I have numerous question credits, in the event I do not review are these simply erased? Seems this service is escalating as with others but seriously looking at moderating my costs. Any comment?

Q: Hello 5i,
Thank you for your invaluable advice in this challenging time. Would you hold or sell Methanex right now with 55% loss on what was a full position?

Q: On Dec. 16th, you answered that FTNT was probably your favourite large cap Cyber security company. Any change there? Also they have a lot of cash, do they have a good track record of acquisitions? Thank-you.

Q: Hi, my respected 5i team
I'm looking for some US stocks to buy in order to take advantage of the current market dip. Could you please recommend 4 or 5 solid names that worth buying now in the order of the most attractive to the least if possible? My time zone is about 3 to 5 years. Could you also comment the reasons of recommending?
By the way, I bought GOOG and NVDA last year upon your suggestion, only half position. Do you think it is a good idea to add more now?
Thanks in advance!
Jane

Q: Dear 5i,
Is ENB hybrid i.e. 50% Energy / 50% Utilities? This is for allocation purposes in RRSP account. I am underweight in Utilities. but at 4% in Energy, mainly with ENB. Should I add more to ENB considering current price and environment or look at BEP.UN? Thanks in advance for your comments

Q: Hi, 5i Team
In the market updates email that you sent on Mar/01, you mentioned the following companies deserved a closer look:
Air Canada (AC), Lightspeed (LSPD), BRP Inc. (DOO),Maple Leaf Foods (MFI),Dollarama (DOL),Aritzia (ATZ),Gildan Activewear (GIL),
Alimentation Couche-Tard (ATD.b), Canada goose (GOOS), Descartes Systems. Group (DSG), WSP Global (WSP),
In the "5i special Opportunities Report" within the Special Market Volatility Report email sent on Mar/09, you recommended 10 stocks that were very attractive. Only WSP and DSG were also included. What do you think of the others? Is it a good time to buy them around March?
Are they also solid names worth owning especially now after some huge corrections?
Thank a lot!

Q: I am looking at adding some US Industrials to my portfolio, could you give me your opinion on Honeywell and Lockheed Martin for long term income generating investments? Are there other US industrial stocks that deliver a good and growing dividend that you prefer?
Q: Hi Guys
Thanks for all your help during this little blip in the market. Thinking that with the new focus on Covid-19 treatment, medical supply companies might be a good investment, at least in terms of consumables. Do you think that might be a wise investment and if so do you have any favourites at this time?
Thanks
Stuart

Q: Hello team,
With regard U.S fed interest rates cut on Sunday, would BoC follow another 50 points cut soon?
When the markets return uptrend, would index ETF or sector ETF do better?
Thanks

Q: What would be the best internet gaming company to buy with the casinos closing? Thx James
Q: ZWK has fallen dramatically in this oil and coronavirus crisis. It now yields more than 10% with a 16 cent monthly distribution. Is this higher yield now a red flag for this ETF and U.S. Banks in general? Your thoughts are appreciated on the risks for it going forward, and given it's holdings and exposure to this downturn, and history, the likelihood that it may cut it's distribution. Thank you.
Q: Any idea why A&W would drop a huge 20% on Monday? Thats way beyond the average 10% drop! would you agree that it looks like a pretty good buy here?
Q: Good Morning 5I research. Could I get your thoughts on Canwel recent earnings report. Could this interest rate cut help a company like this?
Thanks for the great work

Q: Good morning guys:
Just like every other investor my stocks in my tfsa are down big time. I have not sold anything as of yet and bought Boyd and MasterCard for my cash account with the recent dip . I know investors should stay the course and not sell quality companies , but just like 2008 it took a long time to get our money back that was lost . That being said is it a better move to sell all my stocks in my tfsa and take the loss . I take the remaining funds and buy quality companies that have been hit big time like a Disney , mastercard , visa , Boyd for example . I presently own 10 stocks in my tfsa and they are all equal weightings. Could you please elaborate what an investor should do in this situation
Thank you for great work .

Q: Is it possible that the lowering of rates will fuel values in the real estate market. What securities should be looking at if this were to be true?
Q: P/P $15, 1.5% position. Dropped sharply last 2 trading days($11.75 to current $9.05).Any reasons? Current yield 9.98% mainly due to drop in stock price.Reportedly rate is based on 5yr GOC plus 2.89% & resets on Mar 31/21.I think the 5yr GOC is currently 0.62% which indicates a much lower rate then. Please may I have your opinion. If it is advisable to sell, please give 2 to 3 replacemrents dividend stocks( not preferred) Txs for u usual great services & advices
